Cutlets from chicken: fast and tasty

You can cook chicken in different ways: bake it in the oven, cook a hearty broth, fry pieces, but today we will make chicken cutlets according to two recipes.

Homemade chicken cutlets

In order to cook chicken cutlets, you need to take the following ingredients:

  • One kilogram of chicken meat;
  • Two middle heads of onions;
  • One raw potato;
  • One chicken egg;
  • Four pieces of white bread, best of all stale;
  • One glass of milk;
  • Pepper and salt to taste;
  • For frying vegetable oil.

To begin with, we will take care of bread: the crusts need to be cut off, and the crumb is broken into several parts, folded into a bowl and poured with milk.

Mincemeat for cutlets will be prepared independently: it will take a little time, but you will be sure that there is nothing superfluous in it. Chicken meat cut into medium pieces and scroll through the meat grinder. The same is done with bread, after slightly squeezing it from the milk.

Onion can be scrolled on a meat grinder with meat, and you can grate on a large grater or chop slightly. Potatoes three on a grater.

We add raw egg to chicken meat, crushed onions and potatoes, salt, pepper to taste and thoroughly mix the mass.

Now we form chicken cutlets: from the bowl, scoop a small amount of minced meat and toss it from one palm to the other, the more times this is done, the more tender and airy the cutlets will turn out. In the end, we give them an oblong shape, lay out on a cutting board covered with food film, and send it to the refrigerator for about an hour.

We will fry the cutlets in vegetable oil. First, on a strong fire, fry the cutlets on both sides to form a crust, then reduce the flame and for another ten minutes bring them to readiness. Ready-made chicken cutlets should be folded in a saucepan, wrapped and left in a warm for half an hour, so the dish will become especially tender and fragrant.

How to cook chicken cutlets without using a meat grinder? To do this the following recipe will help.

Cutlets from chopped chicken meat

Prepare such cutlets very simply.

Ingredients:

  • Three hundred grams of chicken fillet;
  • One small head of onions;
  • One chicken egg;
  • One glass of kefir;
  • Four spoons with a slurry of wheat flour;
  • salt and pepper;
  • A little vegetable oil for frying.

Chicken fillet should be cut into small cubes, approximately 1 * 1 centimeter. To make this easier, you can pre-slice the meat lightly in the freezer. Now add the chopped fillets in a bowl, pour kefir and send to the fridge to marinate, at least for half an hour.

The onion should be finely chopped and lightly put in a frying pan with vegetable oil.

But you can do without bow at all, if you have very fastidious family members.

Now we take out a bowl of chicken meat from the refrigerator, add there onion and egg, salt, pepper to taste, pour in the flour and mix well. The mass of the consistency will look like a dough for pancakes, so that we will fry the cutlets, like fritters. If the cutlets roll up during the inverting, then add a little more flour to the mass.

A good side dish for chopped cutlets will be mashed potatoes or pasta. Bon Appetit!
