Calcemin Advance: instructions for use. Drug analogues

Especially not infrequent cases of calcium deficiency in the body in adolescents, as well as in women during pregnancy. That's when the drug "Calcemin Advance" comes to the rescue . The instruction for use says that this remedy is a complex vitamin and mineral preparation. In addition to calcium, it contains magnesium, copper, zinc, boron, as well as vitamin Kolcalciferol (group D), which needs bone tissue to regenerate.

This mineral-vitamin preparation, as a rule, is produced in the form of coated tablets in different packages: they can be 30, 60 or even 120 pieces. The composition of this drug includes vitamin D, calcium (or rather, calcium carbonate and calcium citrate), magnesium oxide, zinc oxide, copper oxide , manganese sulfate and sodium borate. Each of these components performs its function in supporting and forming the tissue bases of the bones, and they can also reduce the risk of side effects of the treating substances (for example, the formation of stones in the urinary tract).

That's why in case of calcium metabolism in the body and prevention of accumulation of this mineral on the walls of blood vessels, in the ureters, muscles and in the valves of the heart, the preparation "Calcemin Advance" is prescribed. The instruction states that the regular application of the drug reduces the rate of bone loss, corrects calcium metabolism disorders, treats osteoporosis and its complications, promotes rapid bone splicing in fractures. In addition, the drug enriches the body with useful trace elements and vitamin D, which helps calcium absorb and has a beneficial effect on the condition of the parathyroid, thyroid and sex glands.

At what diseases and problems are prescribed the preparation "Calcemin Advance"? The instruction gives a list of these ailments: osteoporosis of various origin (the remedy is taken with both therapy and prevention); Deficiency of calcium and micronutrients in adolescents and women during pregnancy and breastfeeding; Female osteoporosis, characteristic for the climacteric state at a certain age, as well as osteoporosis present in individuals who have been taking immunosuppressants for a long time. Also, the drug is prescribed to improve the rapid healing of bone fractures.

With regard to the use and doses of the drug "Calcemin Advance", the instruction advises caution. To prevent undesirable and uncontrolled accumulation of calcium in tissues and organs (especially in the kidneys), the instruction advises in no case to exceed the prescribed dose and not take the remedy for longer than a month or two in a row. After this course, the percentage of calcium in the blood and urine should be monitored by a laboratory method in order to then prescribe a new course of treatment. Adults and children who are already 12 years of age, take the drug before meals or during such reception. The dose is one tablet up to two times a day. The instruction recommends, after prolonged use of the drug, first to reduce the initial dose to 1 tablet per day, and then switch to the preparation "Calcemin" - an analogue of calceamine advance. By the way, children under the age of 12 years are not eligible for calcemamine, but from the age of 5 children can take calcemin (1 tablet daily).

The described agent has several other analogues, among which Vitrum calcium excels in its effectiveness. This drug reduces calcium leaching, increases bone density, enriches the body with calcium and vitamin D3. It is worth mentioning another analogue - the drug "Calcium-D3 Nycomed", regulating the exchange of calcium and phosphorus.
