Black beans: benefits, recipes, cooking secrets

What you need to know about cooking

Before you start preparing a dish that includes black beans, it is better to prime it first. Thanks to this, the organism will better absorb all the nutrients of the culture, the "gas attacks" will decrease by one third during the passage through the intestine.

Soak the beans for the night. To do this, it should be poured into a container, add water, so that it covers it by 5 cm, and place it in the refrigerator.

How to cook beans?

For cooking, you need to take beans and water in the proportions of 3 to 1. Bring to a boil, then reduce the gas to a minimum and cook until cooked. The cooking process can take up to two hours. Salt and spices are better not to add, otherwise the beans can remain harsh. Welded beans can be stored in a closed container in a cold place for no more than three days.

Puree "Hummus"

This dish is prepared very quickly. Ready mashed potatoes can be applied to breads or pita bread, you can also make a dish that resembles Mexican pizza: spread mashed potatoes on thin slices of bread, put tomatoes on top, corn kernels, bell peppers, greens, cheese.

We will find out what kind of ingredients we will need:

  • Black beans (boiled) - 1.5 cups;
  • Garlic - denticle;
  • Onions - one small;
  • Spices - half a small spoon of paprika, cumin, chili, turmeric;
  • Juice of half a lemon;
  • Water - 3 tablespoons.

Let's go to the cooking process. Garlic chop well, chop onion on a fine grater. Put all the ingredients in a blender, whisk until a puree state.

Black bean soup and buckwheat soup

The main role in this soup is buckwheat. Buckwheat and black beans, the benefits of such a tandem is obvious, perfectly combined to taste and saturate the body with a mass of substances necessary for it.

In order to prepare such a soup, we will need the following ingredients:

  • Olive oil - a tablespoon;
  • Crushed onions - a third of a glass;
  • Crushed Bulgarian sweet red pepper - ½ cup;
  • Three slices of finely chopped garlic;
  • Buckwheat - ¼ cup;
  • Dry powder of chili pepper - one small spoon;
  • Vegetable broth or low-fat meat without salt - 2 cups;
  • Boiled black beans - 300 grams;
  • Carrots, grated on an average grater - 1 glass;
  • Frozen corn kernels - 1 glass;
  • One laurel leaf;
  • Chopped greens of cilantro - ¼ cup;
  • Lemon juice - two tablespoons;
  • Black, red pepper and salt - to taste;
  • Finely chopped spinach, kale, broccoli - ½ cup.

Consider the process of cooking.

  1. Preheat the olive oil in a saucepan with a thick bottom, put pepper and onions in it, simmer for 5 minutes.
  2. Add vegetables to garlic, chili and buckwheat, simmer with the lid closed for 5 more minutes.
  3. Pour in the vegetable broth, add the cooked beans, corn, carrots, bay leaves, put out another 3 minutes.
  4. Pour into the soup two glasses of water, pour in the spices, salt. Cover and cook until cooked buckwheat (about 15 minutes).
  5. 5 minutes before the meal is ready, add chopped leafy vegetables and lemon juice.

Salad of black beans, peppers and tomatoes

To prepare this delicious and healthy dish, we will need the following products:

  • Boiled black beans - 1.5 cups;
  • Medium tomatoes - 3 pcs .;
  • Bulgarian sweet yellow pepper - 1 pc .;
  • Sour cream 20% fat content - 3 tbsp. Spoons;
  • Sauce salsa - 100 grams;
  • Lemon juice - 1 tbsp. a spoon;
  • Celery greens - 1 small bunch.

Let's go to the preparation.

  1. Dice the peppers, tomatoes and celery greens.
  2. Separately mix sour cream, sauce, salt and pepper.
  3. Add the boiled beans to the vegetables, mix, fill with the resulting mixture before serving.

Soup with beans and sausage

Let's first consider the products needed to make a tasty and hearty soup:

  • Boiled black beans - 1 glass;
  • Canned corn - 1 pot;
  • A bunch of green onions;
  • Clove of garlic;
  • Pepper, salt - to taste;
  • Sunflower oil - 3 tablespoons;
  • Salami - 250 grams;
  • Meat broth - 2 cups;
  • Marjoram - 2 stems;
  • Tomatoes - 1 kg.

Now consider the cooking process.

  1. Slice the green onions with thin rings.
  2. Drain the corn from the liquid.
  3. Peel with salami and cut into thin layers.
  4. Garlic cloves are cleaned, grind with garlic press.
  5. Cut the tomatoes into small cubes.
  6. In a saucepan, pour in the sunflower oil, add onion and garlic, pass for 5 minutes.
  7. Add canned corn, sliced tomatoes and broth, bring it to a boil.
  8. Salami and cooked beans put in the soup, cook for another 15 minutes over a small fire. After deenergizing, add salt, pepper and finely chopped marjoram. Let the soup brew for 5 minutes, after which you can serve it on the table.
