Avitaminosis on the skin, how does it affect human health?

Vitamins are organic substances with high biological activity. Sources of vitamins are products of plant and animal origin. They perform an essential role in the metabolism, so their lack or complete absence cause various disorders in the body, which leads to the disease. There are many advantages of vitaminized nutrition, at present about 40 vitamins are known, of which groups are distinguished that affect blood clotting (phylloquinones), reproduction processes (retinol), cellular respiration and oxidation-reduction reactions, and others.

The complete absence of vitamins in the body is called avitaminosis. Usually it is associated with malnutrition or with age characteristics. The manifestation of avitaminosis is expressed in hair loss, brittle nails, lethargy, drowsiness, depressive state, decreased immunity and, as a result, frequent cold and viral diseases. Also often manifested avitaminosis on the skin - in the form of inflammation, roughness or red spots. In the absence of vitamins, serious diseases can develop, such as rickets (vitamin D), scurvy (vitamin C), beriberi (B1), and others.

Avitaminosis can occur at any time of the year, it all depends on the individual characteristics of the body, but most often people complain of this disease in the winter-spring period, which is due to a decrease in vitamin supply, because at this time we consume a little vitaminized food. Particularly frequent complaints about beriberi in the spring, almost everyone has been in this state, when you do not want anything, there is no strength for anything, and friends at a meeting say what your pale face is. You can not close your eyes to this, because there may be more serious signs that will cause even greater discomfort.

Whoever ever encountered avitaminosis in his life, he knows that this is a very unpleasant condition. Avitaminosis on the skin is one of the most unpleasant moments: a feeling of dryness, the skin seems to contract, irritation, peeling, redness - and this is only part of the symptoms. Acne rash associated with a deficiency of minerals and vitamins A, C and E, as well as hyperpigmentation (the appearance of brown spots on the skin), increased secretion of sebaceous glands - that is what is threatening beriberi on the skin. And do not underestimate the seriousness of these violations, because they, first of all, affect your health and your appearance. If you have these symptoms, you need to urgently take a course of vitamin therapy.

Vitamin E struggles with skin lesions (found in cereals, carrots, eggs, asparagus, broccoli, butter). Vitamin B - with acne (contained in milk, liver, eggs, bread, nuts, cereals, in legumes). Vitamin C will help to cope with the aging processes (contained in citrus fruits, in parsley and dill, in onions, cabbage, very much in the currant, dog rose and pepper). Remember: the skin is the most sensitive organ of a person, it reacts to any changes in the body. Therefore, if you have an avitaminosis on the skin, do not worry, it's all curable, the main thing is to start the course in time, and you can avoid many problems.

But all the same it is better to prevent the disease than to treat it later. Therefore, doctors advise eating as much fruit, vegetables, cereals and legumes as possible. They will strengthen your immunity, positively affect the gastrointestinal tract and cardiovascular system, slow down the aging processes, make the skin smooth and supple, improve the complexion, strengthen the hair and give them a healthy shine. Your health and beauty depend only on your prudent attitude to yourself! Take care of yourself and your loved ones.
