Self improvementTime management

Answer the question: "How to manage everything without a neurosis?"

Are you a busy person with a lot of outstanding things so far? If you decide to end the problem, how to manage everything, consider, failed. Why? Because such a statement of the question contradicts itself. This is like action and reaction in mechanics, and in physics - positive and negative electricity. It's impossible to catch everything! But do not despair, there is a way out, and we will point it out.

You need to know the "golden" rules of time management, if you are the one who is in the process of solving the dilemma "how to do everything":

- you do not keep within the established deadlines;

- become nervous and jerky, which affects not only work, but also relationships with close people;

- as a result of a note and complaining, referring to a variety of reasons that did not allow you to carry out your plans, consider yourself a failure.

Just a man who asked the question: "How can I manage everything?", Looks like a boy with a slingshot, who strikes pebbles on a bottle battery, imagining that he has a machine gun in his hands.

A simple step-by-step instruction consisting of four steps will take you out of the labyrinth of cases. Now all the fun:

Step 1 - "Do not do it if you can"

Review your list of planned cases and cross out those that are most likely not to be done at all. Please note that it is important not to shift the case to later, but completely to refuse to do it! Reconsider the scope of your responsibility. Most cases must be performed by other people, and, you know who. The only area that no one will do for you is going to a bathroom or a doctor, eating food, etc. Just do not think that you push your affairs to others. You act as an experienced military leader - you are engaged in strategic alignment of forces before the war.

Do you feel a rush of determination? It worked the law of communicating vessels - if one is decreasing, then the other is filled. In this case, you have filled yourself with liberated energy.

Step 2 - "Prioritize"

Your list has significantly decreased, and at this stage it is important to determine the priority issues:

- urgent tasks that require emergency solutions;

- tactical issues or questions relating to self-improvement, but not requiring immediate implementation;

- tasks not very significant, but urgent (spontaneous tasks received from management);

- things are not urgent and not too important, from which, if possible, it is better to refuse.

The day must begin with the solution of urgent tasks requiring urgent implementation.

Step 3 - "The order should be in everything!"

- Spread literally on the shelves and your professional documents. On the desktop, there must be an ideal order - one's own, perfectly defined place should be in documents and every thing.

- If you have not done this before, get a weekly journal, where you will write down all the upcoming business, setting priorities and accents. Order is not only necessary for objects, but for thoughts too.

Step 4 - "Self-control"

If in the evenings, perhaps before going to bed, you will answer yourself to these five questions, the problem of "how to do everything" for you will no longer exist:

1. What did you learn in the past day?

2. Was everything done to solve pressing problems?

3. With pleasure, did you do the work?

4. Were you provided with a service or assistance to someone who needed it?

5. How did you rest, what did you do for your well-being and health?
