Working hours balance for 2014, 2015

We are all interested in the possibilities. In particular, this concerns the need and the desire to use rationally own time in spite of employment. However, there are regulators and questions that do not allow you to maximize your own time.

The balance of working hours is what?

For example, the balance of working hours of workers with a 40-hour work week is exactly 2004 hours. At 30-hour - 1506 hours. These indicators are regulated both by the legislation of the state, and are established by private firms.

According to the legislation, the employer has no right to use the employee more than 40 hours a week. This indicator is considered the maximum.

Why is it needed?

Part of this issue was disclosed in the first paragraph. We will not discuss it in great detail and simply consider the main points of the need to adopt and develop a balance of working time for workers.

Firstly, the balance contains the average number of days and hours that a simple worker in an enterprise or firm can work out at a particular period. It is compiled for both individual units of the firm or company, and for a specific person. With the help of balance, you can distribute the workload of workers, calculate labor productivity and be aware of the progress of workers compared to the previous months. In addition, when distributing holidays, they also come from this indicator.

Secondly, the balance of working hours of workers is fixed at the legislative level. There is a clear framework for which the employer does not have the right to go out in the exploitation of employees. It is established that 40 hours a week is the maximum that a person should give to his work. All the rest of the time should belong to him completely. If the employer exceeds his authority, then he can be safely sued and demand compensation.

Balance of forces and time for 2014 and 2015

The Ministry of Social Policy is developing the balance in Ukraine. This department is responsible for the schedule and duration of work of citizens.

By the way, the balance of working time 2014 has not changed since 2013. There was no sensation even this time. The balance of working hours for 2015 is no different from 2014. They are completely identical.

For 2015, it is stipulated that the minimum working week is 18 hours, the maximum - 40 hours. This is 903.6 and 2004 hours per year, respectively.

New Year, Christmas, International Women's Day, Easter, Solidarity Day of Workers, Victory Day, Trinity, Constitution Day and Independence Day of Ukraine are official holidays, to which the whole country stops its work. They are not included in the balance of working time in 2014 and 2015.

The number of hours of work per day and per week is set in accordance with the state labor code. In case of failure to fulfill the requirements of one of the parties, you can always go to court. It often happens that the employer demands to work above the norm, but the employees do not know about their rights.

Actual and normative balance

It is necessary to distinguish between two types of working time - this is the actual and normative. Words sound difficult, but in fact, everything is very simple.

The normative balance of working time is the direct resources of working time. That is, how many initially provided time for work in a year or a week. We have already dealt with the example of a 2004-hour working year with a 40-hour workweek.

The actual balance of working hours is that part of the time that was used from the provided 2004 hours. The actual time will always be longer than the norm.

There are factors that prevent the maximum standard time from being used. There may be absenteeism at work, downtime, no-show with permission, absenteeism, school leave, and other moments. Therefore, it is always very important to use every minute of working time to achieve maximum productivity.

How to allocate time for work

Perhaps, the main issue that the employer poses for him is "how to achieve the maximum efficiency of labor for a short period of time?".

There is no universal and correct answer in this case. Moreover, nothing guarantees an ideal success when applying a specific formula for labor. However, there are recommendations that help make the work more enjoyable, effective and useful.

There is a "lesser method" when working on projects or assignments. A big goal often scares. And if you imagine how much time and forces you need to go to it, then your hands completely go down. In this case it is recommended to use this method of setting simpler, smaller and intermediate goals on the way to success.

In other words, all the hardest things need to be simplified!
