An essay on "Love of Nature"

"A person thirsts, finds and accepts beauty without any conditions, and therefore only that it is beauty, and admires with reverence, without asking what it is useful for, and what can be bought for it" (FM Dostoevsky) .

At school, at the lesson of literature, everyone at least once wrote an essay on "Love of Nature." The topic is so abstract that not everyone is able to express in words what they feel. Like this? After all, "feel something" is possible for another person or, for example, a pet, but nature ... People are so used to the technical wonders of the modern world that sometimes they do not notice the beauty surrounding them: in the same starry sky, forest park area or In the recesses of thunderclouds.

Humanity is engaged in the discovery of new inventions to improve life, love for nature is moving to the second, and even to the third plan. Moreover, this high feeling is mixed with the banal craving of man to be in nature.

What is what?

What is the subtext? After all, at first glance, both concepts mean the same thing: a person loves nature. No. In the case when he likes to visit nature, we talk about his desire to go out of town for weekends or holidays, swim, make kebabs, breathe the fresh air and stay in silence after the city stuffiness and noise. Here, only the desire of a person to change the situation for at least a day. Relax. A superfluous proof of the lack of sincere feelings towards nature is that, having rested, a person does not disdain to leave a package with rubbish under some particularly beautiful bush.

Love of nature means the union of the human soul and natural beauty. We talk about love, lying on a forest glade and looking at the slowly floating clouds, when in the head there is not a single thought, but in the heart full of pacification. This feeling can be said when the drizzle of raindrops on the cornice does not irritate, but brings peace and lulls, erasing all the adversities from memory. The love of the native nature is to go for a few days on the train across the country and involuntarily admire the forests, fields, hills that change behind the car window. At the same time, never catch yourself being bored.

To love nature means to notice beauty in its details, not thinking about utility and profitability. Nature is the unselfishness and purity of thoughts.

Nature in literature

A literary work on the topic "Love of Nature" implies the presence in it of examples from art works. It is in them that we see the undisguised beauty of nature, expressed by a powerful author's style.

Take, for example, "Farewell to Matyora" VG Rasputin. A story about a village in the middle of the Angara, which must be flooded to build the Bratsk hydroelectric station. The population of the island is divided into two groups: the old and the young. The former were so "hooked" with the island that they do not want and can not leave their native land. Darya Pinigina, refusing to move with her son in the city, whitens her hut, although she understands that she will be burned by orderlies. Her neighbor, leaving the island, dies in the city, so his wife returned to Matyora.

Love for nature, love for the Motherland moves the actions of the elderly. Rasputin does not resort to precise definitions in his narrative, he conveys his love of the nature of this region with abstract descriptions, but this does not prevent us, the readers, from drawing in the head the image of a small village that has separated from the whole world. The nature of Rasputin is alive. There is the Master of the Island - the embodiment of his nature, his inhabitants and their ancestors buried in this land. There is a huge tree - royal larch, which the orderlies could not burn. Love of nature in the minds of the elderly made her a real living character, which can not be broken.

Grandchildren, contrary to the old, easily leave their native land, hoping for a better life in the city. They do not have a drop of what sits in the soul of every elderly resident. They are unaware that they will wipe the village from the face of the Earth, do not believe in the Master, do not see the larch of power. For them, these are only tales of non-existent magic.

True Value

"Farewell to Matyora" is not just a story about the unfair fate of the village. The theme of love of nature is intertwined in it with the idea of opposing traditions and modernity, which is often found in our lives.

Humanity uses the gifts of nature, taking them for granted. Nature in man is not an object of admiration, but a source of income. The development of entrepreneurship destroys in man a sense of beauty, giving rise to a greed for profit. After all, even having a lot of money and the opportunity to relax abroad, people will not admire nature, because by today's standards it is boring and not necessary.

Live system

We have ceased to understand that nature is a single, well-functioning living system. The use of it for such mercenary purposes will sooner or later turn against us. Remember how many victims and damages occur after a tsunami, a hurricane, an earthquake ... Nature knows how to kill no worse than people.

In this battle, modernity loses, and the conclusion is one: the love of man for nature should not be played. Going out into nature does not mean to love her with soul and heart. Relaxing in nature is not a true manifestation of feeling.

Love it!

It is necessary to start this feeling from a small age. The deep love of children for nature is the first step in understanding such an abstract concept. A child's feeling is to see a magician in the cloud taking out a rabbit from his hat; Run on the white dandelion field and laugh when the fuzz tickles the nose and cheeks; To understand that a piece of paper or a bottle thrown past an urn can inflict great damage on nature.

Who will be the first to recover when he sees a dead dove? Child. And why? I'm sorry for the bird! It does not matter to him that these pigeons are at every step, he now feels sorry for this lifeless. The child will not even be able to explain why it's a pity. He can not formulate that the bird could live for a long time, go offspring. In fact, he is sorry for the pigeon. At this moment the child loves him, as if he knew all his life. The adult simply passes by, throwing a squeamish glance at the unfortunate bird.

Children can sincerely love, if they show how right.

Expressing feelings in security

Love of nature is creation. Deliver an empty bottle to the garbage can, pick up bags with leftover food and disposable dishes with you from the forest - this is within the power of everyone. Without proper treatment on the part of man, nature will perish, and without it our existence will become impossible.

Of course, a single person will not save her from death. This should become a mass phenomenon. At the state level, it is possible to help solve global problems: the greenhouse effect, the growth of ozone holes, the pollution of the atmosphere and the world's oceans, etc. But everything begins big with small things.

Love the nature, feel with it the unity

FM Dostoyevsky says that in nature there is beauty, from which, perhaps, there is no profit and benefit in the industrial sphere, but it brings peace to the soul. Man first of all - a child of nature. Relations with it should not be parasitic. Taking something from her, we must definitely give it away. Love for her is the smallest, but the brightest that can be.
