Child-parent relations: what should they be?

When a child appears in the family, the relationship between husband and wife is experiencing amazing transformations. Now they become a daddy and a mother, on whom lies a huge responsibility for a tiny creature. How their child will grow, whether he will be successful and prosperous in life - such questions are asked of each parent. Meanwhile, it depends on the parents and on what kind of child-parent relations were built, how the relationship with the outside world will develop.

Child psychology is such that small children take for the standard behavior of adults surrounding it. Parents become the first examples for imitation . And children, whose psychology of relationships are only beginning to form, try to imitate adults in everything. This is evident in the role plays of children and in the relationships of children with peers. Therefore, it is extremely important to show your sons and daughters the right relationship between father and mother, which will become the starting point for the grown up child to fully realize himself in life.

The most important principle that a child should see is the manifestation of sincere love and concern for each other. The kid, who day after day will observe the trembling and kind relations of mom and dad, will be happy himself. Moreover, the model of manifestations of tenderness and love will be further applied to the baby. Therefore, the child-parent relationship should be based on love.

A child who feels loved by his parents is less susceptible to depression, he does not remain in a stressful state in case of a threat to him. He is confident that his mother and father will save him, help overcome all difficulties. The child begins and feels confident. But a confident child can do a lot.

In addition, child-parent relations in the family should teach caring for each other and mutual respect. Caring for others must be taught from a very young age, then, having matured, a son or daughter will not become selfish consumers, which parents could only accustom to spoiling and the ability to demand all the best, without giving anything in return. Accustomed to a caring attitude towards others, the child will be able to fully realize himself later on as a loving caring husband, father, wife or mother. It is a mistake that the boy does not need tenderness, because he is a future man. This is the root of all future problems of an adult who will not be able to express his feelings and attachments, suffering from this himself and causing additional suffering to his other half.

Mutual respect should also be inherent in the child-parent relationship, as it contributes to the full and comprehensive development of the child's personality. Suppressing his will and desire, without explaining the reasons for refusing the baby in his requests, the parents risk to grow an uncertain person in the future, who will find it difficult to adapt to an external life that will feel unnecessary and unhappy. Before refusing to admit the child to any, at first sight, absolutely unacceptable request, think about why such a desire arose. Perhaps the baby will be able to give good reasons and reasonably justify his request.

The relationship between children and parents is a perennial problem. Not always fathers or mothers manage to understand their children, nor can children assess the situation through the eyes of their parents. However, accustoming to respect for someone else's opinion and attention to relatives, mutual understanding between parents and children, nevertheless, can be achieved.

Parents! Do not be shy in every way to show your love for each other, and in relationships with your children. The baby, beloved by the father and mother, who responds with a quivering feeling for her closest and dearest people, is much more likely to grow up a person who will not experience problems with adaptation in a world outside the family.
