Alexandria leaf is an effective remedy for many diseases
The Alexandrian leaf or, as it is called in another way, a leaf of Senna, has long been used for the therapy of many human diseases. He also has another well-known name - cassia sharply-shaped.
The Alexandrian sheet, whose properties are determined by its chemical composition, contains a large number of anthraglycosides, sterols, flavonoids, organic acids and alkaloids. Senna contains magnesium, zinc, copper, calcium, potassium, selenium and other micro- and macro elements. Cassia cauliflower is a perennial tropical plant (semi-shrub, shrub) family of legumes. Its height reaches 1 m.
The Alexandrian leaf can not be taken without the advice of the attending physician, since he, like most folk remedies, can cause a number of side effects. So, when using a dry extract of Senna, abrupt pains in the abdomen, flatulence, and strong rumbling can occur. Although such phenomena are observed very rarely and disappear after the cessation of the use of this remedy, it is impossible to take the Alexandrian leaf uncontrolled. With its long-term use, it is often noted that the organism becomes accustomed to cassia preparations, which reduces its effectiveness.
This popular folk laxative is available in tablets or in the form of crushed dried leaves in packets and briquettes. Tablets consume 1-2 pcs. Daily before meals or at night.
The infusion of the leaf is prepared from 2 tablespoons of dry raw material, which is placed in a small enamel bowl and steamed with a glass of boiling water. The container is closed with a tight lid and heated for another half an hour. Ready infusion is cooled. After this, it is filtered, the leaf is squeezed and the volume of the infusion is again adjusted to 250 ml with warm boiled water. The finished product is stored in cool for up to 2 days. Usually, this infusion is taken in the morning and before going to bed by 1/3 or 1/2 cup.
