The capital of Tatarstan: from antiquity to the future

Everyone knows that Kazan is the capital of Tatarstan. But few people thought that this city can be called the center of the East European Plain. Located eight hundred kilometers from Moscow, at the confluence of the Volga and Kama, the capital of Tatarstan is not inferior to the Russian capital either in architecture, in social or in scientific development.

Moreover, it is in Kazan that unique buildings are located, which can not be found even in Moscow. Only here tourists can admire the "real" flying saucer in which the circus is located, appreciate the modern Pyramid of the cultural complex.

And here you can also confess your love for an amazing and unique cable-stayed, very high bridge across Kazanka, to go to the fairy-tale kingdom, visit the Ehiyat Puppet Theater, decorated with colorful mosaic. Those who do not like fairy tales can go to the future on the spaceship of the future: it is enough to visit the building of the national library or the "falling" crystal towers of the national bank.

The capital of Tatarstan is more than a thousand years old. Surprisingly, the modern city has managed not only to acquire features of the future, but also to preserve its old look. The historical center of the city is amazing: former profitable and merchant houses, religious buildings, industrial buildings, standing here from past centuries, form an incredible architectural ensemble that amazes tourists.

The capital of Tatarstan is unique not only in architectural terms. More than ten higher educational institutions, six Academies, several religious educational institutions, three military schools and several branches of Moscow universities are based here. The Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan for its achievements is known far beyond Russia.

Where many educational institutions - there are many young people. In order for young men and girls to have a good rest, the capital of Tatarstan has opened dozens of nightclubs, many restaurants with unique cuisine, dozens of other entertainment facilities.

Kazan is the most developed sports city of our country. That is why the World Universiade will be held here in the summer, which is another reason to visit a unique city. The sports Village built on the occasion of the Universiade is the only complex of its kind in the world. It is supposed that after the Universiade it will become a club of federal importance for training Russian national teams. And this is almost a thousand kilometers from Moscow!

You can tell a lot about Kazan, but it is best to visit this city at least once. Because the capital of Tatarstan is the best example of how to strive for the future, respecting your past and cherishing the present.

And stay in the city is where. There are innumerable hotels here. There are huge modern buildings, there are hotels located in old buildings, small private hotels.

If you want to see something new, if you like to travel, remember: you are always happy Republic of Tatarstan. The capital will do everything to ensure that tourists, once visited the city, returned here again and again.
