In 2007, 41-year-old Costacurta announced the completion of his football career - this is another amazing achievement of this player. Most football players end their playing career around 33 years, but Alessandro played much longer. When Alessandro did finish his career, he stayed at Milan to work at the headquarters of coach Carlo Ancelotti as technical assistant. After a year of such activity Costacurta announced that he wants to go further and become an independent coach.
