Incidents

In 1942, one of the planes that flew from Dushanbe airport made an emergency landing. On board was a pilot, as well as six passengers. All survived, although only the fuselage remained from the ship. After staying in place for a little less than two weeks, the pilot and three men went in search of housing. One of the passengers in the process fell into the gorge and died. There was a woman with two children on the plane. Finding a shelter, none of the men remembered them. When the wreckage of the plane was discovered, what happened in a few months, only a woman was found alive - the children died of hunger. A criminal case was instituted, and all men (including the pilot) were sentenced to different punishments.

In 1993, a plane that flew to Dushanbe airport took a catastrophe during take-off. At that time in Tajikistan there was a war. Militants under pressure to the crew put 81 people on board, although the aircraft was calculated for only 28. Due to the overload, the vehicle did not take off, but continued to go. At high speed the plane went out of bounds, collided with the parapet of the irrigation ditch, then a boulder. After 60 meters the ship hit the pillbox of concrete and fell into the river. The whole crew and 77 passengers were killed.

These incidents occurred before the onset of the XIX century. All the catastrophes, except for the two described, happened due to the negligence of the crew. Now Dushanbe airport inspires confidence, since no such situations happen.
