Yegor Filipenko is the best defender of Belarus

Filipenko Yegor Vsevolodovich was born in Minsk. This is one of the most successful football players of the national team of Belarus. During his career, he played for BATE Borisov and a number of Russian clubs. Currently playing in the Spanish "Malaga".

Club career

Like many Belarusian footballers, Yegor Filipenko started playing in the Minsk "Change". The footballer owes a lot to his first coach Leonid Ivanovich Daineko. As a professional football player, Filipenko made his debut in Barysau BATE. In 2005, Filipenko played for a double of the football club from Borisov, but a year later he played for the main team in the National Championship of Belarus for the first time.

Playing in the national team of Belarus

For the first time Yegor Filipenko played for the Belarusian national team at the age of 19, since then he has been constantly involved in the team. The most important achievement of the player at the national team level is the third place at the European Youth Championship.

In many ways the team became a prize-winner thanks to the defender of the Belarusian team. In the match for third place it was Filipenko who scored the goal.
