Where Vasily Stalin is buried and how he died

At the Moscow Troyekurovsky cemetery, a rare visitor who came to visit someone's grave, no, no, and inquire where Vasily Stalin is buried. People who know will show a silent alleyka on which the son of the leader, a combat officer, rests.

After nine years and two weeks after the death of Joseph Stalin, his youngest son passed away. His fate was tragic, although to many he seemed a darling of fate. The circumstances of V. Dzhugashvili's death remain mysterious today.

A few knew how Vasily Stalin died. Maria, the woman who became his last love, was not one of them. At the end of February 1962, she was not very politely asked to leave the small-sized Kazan apartment, which became the last earthly abode of the "Kremlin celestial", the major-general and the son of "the most powerful man on the planet."

A certain Nusberg, an employee of the state security and the Serbsky Institute, who was married to Vasily, rushed to Kazan after an unsuccessful trip Marisha and her aunt to Moscow for the truth. The attempt was really naive, they could even get to Voroshilov himself, but instead of the "first red officer" who, according to their plan, could intercede for Vasya, they saw an old man with an extinct eye, honestly admitting that he was not solving anything anymore.

The resolute lady of the beginning of the fact that she expelled from the living space is not registered on her dweller, namely Maria. Then she set to work. Some injections completely paralyzed the will of the fifth-floor prisoner of the Khrushchev, and on March 19 "whoever should" reported "who needs to" that VI Dzhugashvili is no more.

The Kremlin decided to simplify the whole ritual as much as possible, so that as few people as possible knew about where Vasily Stalin was buried. What Khrushchev was frightened of by a dead man who was broken during his lifetime is unknown, but even veteran pilots were forbidden to wear awards, seeing off their commander and comrade on their last journey. The orders were under civilian coats, and when the fighting friends bowed low, they could be seen.

And after, in decades, every pilot of the war, when he came to Kazan, found out where Vasily Stalin was buried, and visited his grave, thereby expressing, sometimes only to himself, the fidelity of memory and respect for his son and father. Perhaps someone would think that such an attitude toward the dictator and his spoiled descendant seems to be a mistake, but it deserves, at least, respect.

The people present at the funeral celebrated the absence of military honors, it seemed unfair to them. Vasily was a brave officer, and if he shot down only one enemy aircraft (according to other sources, two), then only because after Jacob's capture, his father forbade him to risk his life.

There were also mysterious traces of beatings on his face, and the way his uniform was covered by a tulle by some woman, apparently by someone's pointer. There were many people, the sorrowful news spread through the provincial town quickly, and it was now impossible to hide the number of the site in the Arskoye cemetery of Kazan, where Vasily Stalin was buried.

Time gradually puts everything in its place. Today, it is clear to everyone that a grief-stricken son accused his father's companions in his poisoning of the heat, and, having done many other stupid things, did not conduct anti-Soviet agitation at the same time. Vasilii Iosifovich was very uncomfortable with the then leadership, he did much and said wrong, but the cruelty shown to this brave and open person was excessive. In 1999, he was fully rehabilitated. The body was reburied next to Maria in the capital's Troyekurovsky cemetery.

The Moscow tomb of Vasily Stalin did not become a place of pilgrimage, but someone still brings flowers to her.
