What kind of person can be called a person? What is personality?

Being in society, each person chooses a company according to various factors. Some people pay more attention to appearance and manners, others - to the nature and wealth of the inner world, the third choose only intellect, the fourth - taking into account the well-being of man and so on.

Considering all of the above, in total, a complex opinion is formed about the person whom we choose for our circle of communication. But all these signs are not characteristic of a real person.

The definition of a real person, personality is given solely by his internal qualities, actions and actions towards other people and in specific conflict situations.

So what kind of person can be called a real person ? How can one conclude whether a real person is really in a moral, of course, plan.

Who is this person?

Of course, the article will deal with the concept of "man" from a social and moral point of view, and not in the biological sense.

From this side, a person is a social and biological being that embodies the highest stage of development of life forms existing on earth and is a subject of socio-historical activity and social interaction. From the biological point of view, at the highest level of evolution and the food chain is a person. Who is this from the standpoint of sociology and psychology, it is necessary to determine according to specific characteristics.

In psychology, the concept of "man" is the most extensive and general, uniting many other concepts that differ according to the determinative factors that determine them.

The basic characteristics of a person are:

  • Special structure of the body;
  • The presence of conscious thinking;
  • Ability to work activity.

In a society we often use this term, referring to a person as a person and his personal qualities, and not as a biological subject. For example, when we say that someone immediately rushed to help a woman - that's a real man. And do we know what kind of person can be called a person for his actions?

Who is an individual and how does he relate to the concept of man

An individual who represents, roughly speaking, a set of personal qualities and a certain point of view on things from birth to death, is called an individual.

That is, every single person is an individual. This is essentially a concept-synonym.

What is a person?

But the concept of personality is narrower. Personality can be characterized as an individual who, above all, is endowed with consciousness, is capable of learning and cognizing, experiencing, changing the world around him and who constantly interacts with him and other personalities.

The main difference between a person and a person is that they do not become a person from birth. Throughout life, a person accumulates life experience and wisdom, which comes with the need to solve daily tasks and conflict situations. The more such situations in which a person needs to get out of his comfort zone, habitual condition and adapt, the faster a person develops that person, individuality, personal opinion and much more.

Proceeding from this, it is possible to single out a set of attributes that will clarify the question of which person can be called a person. There are several basic parameters that define a person as an individual. They are listed below.

Integrity

Of course, the thoughts and actions of man do not exist separately. Everything is interconnected and forms a complete set. That is, in the development process, each individual component that could be identified, progresses or regresses along with everything else. And all the changes occur with a change in the interrelationships of the components of the personality, and not the very characteristics themselves. And most importantly, each of their characteristics is formed as a result of integrating three spheres of human development - biological, social and spiritual.

Uniqueness

Everyone is constantly in the process of development and does not stop developing until his death. Of course, for everyone this process happens in different ways. It is impossible to find two absolutely identical in human development. Even twins, in spite of their external similarity, blood relationship and being in one circle of communication, will develop in a similar way, while remaining unique personalities. Unique actions make it possible to analyze what kind of person can be called a person and whether these judgments are true.

In the photo, a man rescuing his dog from painful pains. The dog is diagnosed with a serious joint disease, because of what she does not sleep at all. And when the owner takes it to the lake, the water reduces pain, so that the dog can at least get some sleep. Is this not an act of a real person? That very humanity.

Activity

This feature can be described as follows. Everyone has his own "I". His actions depend on the influence of internal and external factors. In this case, in view of this sign in any situation, a person will do a certain deed regardless of habits. These influencing factors are a kind of motivation, a person's motivation for a certain action, in which activity is manifested.

Expression

Every person as a person is capable of self-expression. Here it is possible to consider, figuratively speaking, two sides of the coin: one is an external existence, that is, a kind, habits, everything that other people can see, hear, feel with the help of sense organs, and the second is the inner side, the one that Other people can understand, understand and accept, or not. That is, there will no longer be perceived the appearance of a person. It will not be important how he talks or does, but what he says and does, for example. This sign brings us closer to answering the question of what kind of person can be called a person.

Incompleteness, self-development and self-regulation

Personality will never be complete. This is another sign of it, flowing into the capacity for self-development. Incompleteness is just the same and pushes the person to constant development. A person is constantly learning something new, this happens at every stage of his life, almost daily. And it's not just about acquiring any physical skills, but about internal development, of course. And the person himself regulates these processes, consciously and even unconsciously.

What kind of person can be called a real person

Of course, applying the phrase "this was some kind of inhuman act", we mean that a man showed himself on a bad side, he did not do it properly, not in the way that is called by the so-called unwritten laws. This can also be argued for a long time, because we all know that there are "right" and "wrong" actions, according to which, and how much a person is a real person. And each of us at least once in my life gave others an evaluation from this point of view.

A real person - who is this? Are there "false" people? Of course not. It is about moral principles and actions in which these principles find their expression.

In the opinion of most people, a real person will be tactful and sincere. Such a person should be able to listen and convince people of the correctness or incorrectness of their decisions. To be sincere and open, selfless.

If you ask children: a real person - what he is, children will say that this is a kind, non-greedy person who is always ready to help and support. And it will be all right, because such qualities must be inherent in everyone.
