What is the visa regime? Ukraine, Russia - visa regime of 2014

Today there are quite a few people who somehow need to face the border crossing, so you have to issue a visa. It should be noted that some do not even know about such a concept as a "visa". Agree, it is necessary to understand the question of what a visa regime is and why it is needed.

The concept of a visa

    In addition, it is advisable to receive a voucher, which confirms the reservation of the hotel in the territory of Ukraine.

Before you visit Ukraine, you should determine the purpose of the visit. This is due to the fact that each type of visa meets a certain type of visa. In addition, the length of stay in the territory of a given country depends on the purposes. It is worth noting that the visa regime with Ukraine in 2014 is much more complicated, so it is necessary to comply with all the rules so that there are no misunderstandings.

Having received this type of visa, the guest will be able to stay in the country for one year.

If you visit Ukraine to see the sights of the country, it is desirable to issue a tourist visa. To obtain such an entry permit, it is sufficient to provide a voucher that confirms the reservation of the hotel room. The validity of such a visa is up to 180 days.

It should be noted that since 2007 the heads of Ukraine and Russia have signed a treaty that confirms the visa-free regime, therefore, for crossing the border, it is necessary to have only a passport of a foreign or domestic sample. If the trip is carried out with children, the parent must provide the birth certificate of the minor or passport if the child has reached a certain age. In situations where a minor crosses the border under the supervision of third parties or on his own, he must carry a paper in which the parents authorize this trip.

Now Ukraine introduces a visa regime for citizens of the Russian Federation, but the customs control carries out its work according to the same rules as before. Russians can safely transport across the border items that at a cost do not reach the amount of 200 Euros. If the goods are transported with an indivisible product, its sum for carrying out the problem-free transportation should not exceed 300 Euro. Also, without paying a fee, you can import the following groups of goods:

  • 1 liter of vodka;
  • 2 liters of wine;
  • 200 g of tobacco;
  • 5 liters of beer.

As for food, they can be imported only if their amount does not exceed 50 Euro. Citizens of Russia can easily pay an amount of $ 10,000. If there is a need for a larger amount, you should be concerned about the availability of documents that can confirm the source of its origin. On plastic cards, guests of Ukraine can carry absolutely any amount, but if it exceeds $ 50,000, it is necessary to get permission from the National Bank of Ukraine in advance.
