They tried in every possible way to expand the program, experimented a lot, put "Nedorosl" and "Young Guards". Since the late 60's, Nina Nikulkova, an eminent cultural worker, took control of the theater. Thanks to her, the theater moved to a new address. Nikulkova personally went to the Ministry to "knock out" the construction of the building.

Closer to world standards

With the advent of the new artistic director, composer Gregory Gobernik, the theater was filled with musical aesthetics, characterized by the fact that each performance was directed as a holiday. Not only art, but also the technical component has developed: there was a restoration, a change in the interior, the replacement of seats in the auditorium.

Renaming to the theater "Globe" was held in 1993. It was marked by the fact that the program was beyond the scope of Soviet classics. Like the geographic globe, which is the whole globe, the repertoire of the theater has become extensive and diverse. It was based on the drama of recognized world writers, which viewers have not seen before. Six years later the youth theater was renamed into the academic theater.
