Everyone knows that China is the birthplace of tea . Therefore it would be logical to assume that guessing on tea was invented by the Chinese. However, it is not. The original method of guessing on the tea grounds, called tesseography, was invented by the English. This old good tradition has survived in English-speaking countries.

Why, after all, did the fortune-telling of divination originate in England? Apparently, it was somehow connected with the way of brewing this drink, which in China, for example, it was customary to drink from small cups without pens, and in Europe, on the contrary - from large cups. And the brewing of Europeans poured directly into the cups. It is now steamed in special teapots or in bags. With this method of brewing on the tea grounds, fortune telling does not work.

They are drinking tea the same way as in the thick of the coffee, interpreting the figures and patterns that remain on the bottom and sides of the cup. Presumably, both types of divination occurred simultaneously. And it happened in the late eighteenth century, when tea and coffee became available not only to aristocrats, but also to ordinary people. But for the reason that with any method of brewing coffee at the bottom of the mug there always remained a sediment, guessing on coffee became more popular than guessing on tea.

Brew this popular beverage for fortune-telling in two ways: it can be a mug or teapot with a wide spout, through which the welding passes without difficulty. No matter what type of tea is taken for divination, it is important that it was a large grind, and not a small one from the sachets, since then it will not settle well on the walls. Sugar does not affect fortune telling, and a lemon can interfere.

For a fortune-telling, any cups are suitable. The main thing is that they are not transparent and with handles. You do not need to drink tea until the end. And here it is important to observe the ratio of the thick and liquid. If there is too much water, the tea leaves will pour out on the saucer, and if not enough, they will stick together into the lump. Fortune-telling on tea has its own rules. First, you need to make three rotational movements with your left hand and distribute the tea leaves along the walls. After this, they conceive a question and several times repeating it to themselves, turn the cup away from themselves. You can guess at another person. In this case, he should ask the question and turn over the cup. Turning the mug upside down, you need to let her stand for about ten minutes, and then open it, holding the handle up and reading the pattern.

Tea guessing has the same rules as guessing on the coffee grounds.
Of the cups intended for divination, this drink is simply not allowed to drink more. Therefore it is necessary that they somehow differ from others, for example, they had a noticeable coloring or picture.

To learn the future, you need to read the pattern, moving from the handle to the right, and moving counter-clockwise - you can learn the past. The cup can tell about the events that occur or will occur with the person himself. On other people can indicate the tea leaves, located at the very edge. The whole negative is at the bottom. If there are few pieces in the cup, it means that the person is doing well. The presence of a dense, thick picture suggests that the person has a lot of cares, problems.

Guessing on tea should begin with the interpretation of the most simple figures - sticks and dots. Points mean money. That is, the more points are visible, the more money there will be. If the point is one or is on the side, then it indicates some kind of news or letter. Wand denotes the case, many of the wands mean, respectively, a lot of different things. Chains can form in letters, numbers and other signs, for example, planets. In this case, they are interpreted according to their meaning. Figures of animals indicate the time, that is, interpreted in the sense of the signs of the Zodiac, for example, the year of the Dragon or, for example, the year of the Monkey.
