What is the sign of fire safety?

The modern world, despite a fairly high standard of living, holds many dangers to man. Even just walking on the street, you can get under the car, be infected with an infectious disease, get a serious injury or even die from an electric shock, die from suffocation in a fire or fall victim to criminals. Currently, a whole system of measures and measures designed to ensure the security of every citizen of the state has been developed. With regard to the risk of fires, high-quality fire services can be identified, a specially designed set of actions aimed at reducing the risks of occurrence of similar situations, as well as standardized designations for places with increased risk of fires. In this respect, there is an entire system of signs and color designations for such zones relative to the latter.

Requirements for fire safety signs

Of course, there are certain criteria in accordance with which all the designations of the subject matter were developed. We list some of them. It is only natural that the fire safety sign will be used only in the event of an outbreak. Consequently, such signs should be clearly visible even in smoke-filled premises, in some cases have a color after-illumination, be as clear as possible and meet the requirements of standards and GOSTs in terms of their size and symbolism.

Categories of premises

However, it should be remembered that people must first of all be notified about the premises of which group they are located. In connection with these international regulations, it was decided that an inscription should be present at the entrance to the fire-hazardous room. Currently, it is common to distinguish between 6 groups of fire safety rooms: B1, B2, B3, B4, G and D. Plaques bearing fire safety signs are traditionally hung or glued to the door leading to the room.

Types and designations

The modern classification includes many varieties of the sign "fire safety sign", which, in turn, are divided into several types: evacuation, indication, prohibiting and warning. For example, the well-known little man running out of the door, executed in white-green color, refers to the first type, since it indicates the direction of movement to the exit, as well as the frequently encountered sign of fire safety - a sign with the inscription "Exit". But, for example, the designation of a fireman, a fire escape, a telephone, the placement of protective equipment, etc. belong to the group of designations. Such a sign of fire safety, like all known schematic symbols of a fire extinguisher, can be easily found not only in administrative buildings, but also in any form of public transport.
