Meatballs with rice are a very convenient dish.

This is not the most perfect dish, but it is prepared very quickly. Take a half kilogram of the prepared minced meat: beef, chicken, turkey or a mixture of these kinds. Add to it 250 grams of cooked almost to the full availability of rice. Let's add it, pepper it, add your favorite spices. We mix it well, roll the balls and fry them to the crust in a frying pan. Then add the sauce, you can ready: tomato, cream or simple broth. We extinguish for fifteen minutes.

The preparation of such meatballs of time will take a little more, but with their amazing taste they will amaze any gourmet. The stuffing will be made from two types of meat themselves. I like combinations of pork-beef, pork-lamb, mutton-chicken or turkey. If we cook for the baby, it is better to mix chicken and turkey meat with rabbit meat. It can be passed through a meat grinder, but I prefer it when it is finely chopped into tiny pieces with a very sharp knife. While we are dealing with minced meat, rice is boiling on the stove. Its weight in dry form should be half of the mass of meat. It is better to take groats not steamed, with long grains. It should cook almost until cooked. Other varieties can either remain dryish, or, conversely, become porridge, and meatballs with rice lose their appearance. Mix almost ready rice, minced meat, add onions (the more, the juicier meatballs will be), garlic, spices. I always add another pinch of dry thyme: it gives piquancy. We roll balls, send them to boiling oil. As soon as a crust is formed on the meatballs, we transfer them to another dish, pour broth, sour cream or gravy.
