Inspection report of the vehicle. What is it for

By purchasing a vehicle, we become one of many happy car owners. In addition to convenience and ease of movement, we are "awarded" certain rights and duties that should be respected. This is designed to protect drivers of vehicles from possible legislative and technical problems. In order to timely and correctly respond to certain situations related to the legislative sphere, it is required to equip with certain knowledge. Consider a concept such as an inspection report of a vehicle (TC).

This document specifies the following:

  • Date of issue of the vehicle (month, year);
  • Car brand, engine type (volume, number, etc.);
  • Body data;
  • Passport of the vehicle;
  • Data of the owner and the authorized person.

In addition, the vehicle inspection report contains exhaustive information about the defects found or their absence and the conclusion of a specialist (expert). This document allows you to conduct in the traffic police any operations related to the car, without its direct provision.

You can obtain a vehicle inspection certificate by following the same procedure as when registering a vehicle, that is, when setting or removing it from the register. The inspector checks the numbered units of the car, the result of this check is the certificate of technical condition checking, which indicates the data of the vehicle owner and the inspection itself.

The process itself, on the basis of which the inspection report of the vehicle is formed, looks like this.

The inspector checks:

  • Owners and representatives of TS owners on central accounting of persons, and this is search (including federal), reference, forensic accounting, FMS data;
  • Documents submitted to the audit through a special federal register of lost, stolen, distributed, rejected special products required to admit the vehicle to participate in road traffic;
  • Vehicle and number aggregates through the combined federal registration of registered vehicles and those that are wanted.

As a rule, verification is carried out automatically in the conduct of registration activities by entering information and data. It is not always possible to enter data into the vehicle inspection report automatically. In this case, a request is sent for checking the vehicle in the regional or (and) interregional subdivision of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate.

The result is confirmed by a signature indicating the name, the person who carried out the check, the time and date.

The act of checking the technical condition is certified by the head of the unit, a personal signature of the inspector is put, which confirms his responsibility for the issued document and its results.

You can get an act if you present:

  • A copy of the TCP and technical documents for the TS;
  • Application form
  • Power of attorney (if the trustee refers ) ;
  • The document proving the identity ;
  • Receipts of fees (paid);
  • A vehicle that is submitted for inspection.

There is also an act of defecting the car. This document contains a list of all the shortcomings of the presented vehicle. It is necessary to compose it from an independent expert in the event of an accident to force the insurance company to pay "honestly".

The act of defecting the car includes a complete list of faults, ranging from body "undesirable" changes to hidden defects. When compiling such a special attention should be paid to car service. The better the master, the more chances you have to return money from the "insurers" to repair the car. Be careful when driving and when preparing any documents!
