For today, this is its most important meaning. Kerosene, diesel, gasoline is only a small fraction of what is made from oil.

The processing of oil has great significance in medicine. The question arises: what is made of oil used in this industry? There are special types of oil that are unique in their composition. They have compounds that are identical to compounds in vitamin D, cholesterol and sex hormones. Since the ancient times, the healing properties of oil have been known. It was used to treat ulcers and as an analgesic. Prepared from oil drugs treated gout, arthritis, rheumatism and various skin diseases. Such healing oil is extracted in Azerbaijan, where it is now used as a remedy.

Practically each of us used medicines, which include oil products. But not everyone knows what oil is made of, for example, aspirin. Many antiseptics are prepared using oil refining products. Well-known properties of oil in the fight against microbes, so it is part of many popular antimicrobial drugs. Antibiotics are also made on the basis of alcohols and ethers, which were isolated from oil. Do not forget that the products of oil refining are used for the production of surgical instruments, catheters, oxygen masks and many other improvised materials.

How many people know that some cosmetic products are made from oil? Almost every cream contains oil products. This all testifies to the enormous importance of oil in our life.

No less important for human life is the production of steel. What is steel made of? Of course, from the ore that is extracted from the bowels of the earth. In special furnaces, the ore is melted and isolated from it by useful materials and slags. Steel has a wide application in every industry. List all that is made of steel is impossible. Steel is used in all industries. It is used in the automotive industry, in medicine. Goods made of steel we use everywhere in everyday life. All kinds of dishes, garden accessories and many other things we apply in everyday life and do not think about their origin. Fine knives are made of steel. They are used in everyday life and as souvenirs. Everybody knows the famous damask steel, from which cold steel is made. Many medical tools are made of steel. Almost every household appliance has steel parts.

The importance of oil production and steel production is great in our life. If you think about what is made of oil and steel, it turns out that these products are the most important and extremely necessary. The main thing is a rational and careful use of them so that many more generations can use them for their own needs.
