What is dysbiosis?

Today, much is said about a disease such as dysbiosis. This change in the species composition of bacteria - microbiota - intestinal and skin tissue.

When answering the question what is a dysbacteriosis, it is worth paying attention to the reasons that provoke it.

First of all, it is necessary to say that this disease occurs after taking drugs with antibacterial effect. It can be, for example, antibiotics. Provoke the emergence of dysbiosis can and improper diet, violations in the immune system. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor nutrition, and also to ensure that no pathogenic and harmful microorganisms penetrate the body, such as candidate fungi, aspergillus, which form the so-called pathogenic flora. In this case, pay attention to hygiene.

When a doctor is asked what a dysbacteriosis is, he also tells that the disease develops in several stages. It has four stages of development. The first stage is characterized by a slight decrease in the number of obligate bacteria in the intestine. As a rule, the pathogenic microflora at this stage is developed only slightly. Usually no serious disorders of the intestine are observed.

If we talk about the second stage, it becomes more tangible, what is dysbiosis. At this stage, the number of bifidobacteria, lactobacilli decreases, and the number of pathogenic bacteria, on the contrary, increases very rapidly. Intestine stops working in its usual mode: there are diarrhea, pain, flatulence.

The third stage of dysbiosis is a fast flowing inflammatory process of the intestinal walls. All this is due to the pathogenic effect of dangerous bacteria. Diarrhea at this stage is chronic. Children may even experience a developmental gap.

Finally, the fourth stage of the development of the disease is the stage of acute intestinal infection. Obligatnaya flora is almost absent. Most bacteria are fungi and pathogenic flora. As a rule, at this stage the disease also has some concomitant forms: anemia, malnutrition, and also vitamin deficiency.

A few words about how dysbiosis manifests itself. Its main symptom is abdominal pain, as well as diarrhea. In this case, diarrhea happens quite often. As a rule, feces have a green color, it gradually becomes simply watery. The patient begins attacks of flatulence, bloating, rumbling and so on. There is no appetite, constant weakness, malaise, fatigue, headaches. If you look at the appearance, the patient's face is pinched, pale, the body weight is very small. About such people say: skin and bones, however, the stomach at the same time reaches large sizes. In severe cases, the patient lies, his eyes are closed: this is his weakness. There is such a patient very rarely. As for infants, due to pain in the tummy, they often cry out hysterically.

If we talk about the complications that will inevitably arise after the disease, it is worth mentioning, first of all, avitaminosis, anemia, as well as peritonitis and abdominal sepsis.

All these diseases need additional treatment.

So, what is a dysbacteriosis, it is now clear. It's time to understand how it is diagnosed. The most widely used methods of diagnosis are methods for testing microbiocenosis: analysis of stool mass, diagnosis of PCR, biochemical analysis of microbial metabolites.

Once the main cause of the disease is established, it is necessary to immediately take care of the prescribed medications prescribed by the doctor, which contain the bacteria necessary for the cure. If the treatment is successful, then they take root in the body and multiply to the desired amount.
