By its taste, the meat of this fish is in no way inferior to the meat of other inhabitants of the seas. From it you can cook an ear, make snacks and second dishes, and you can bake on a grill or put on minced meat. But before thinking about what to cook from cod fillets, it is necessary to learn some common secrets of processing this fish. Put the carcass for a few minutes in cold water, slightly acidified with lemon juice. When cooking, do not remove the skin, and do not remove the tail and fins. The less you make holes in the fish, the less it will boil. It is worth it just to thoroughly wash and scrape off the black film inside.

But if you want to fry fish, you need to cut the carcass to get the fillets of cod. To do this, cut the fins, head and tail, and then carefully along the ridge, starting from the tail part, carefully remove the skin. Then separate the tender meat from the spine. With the cod you need to keep an eye out and know the measure: if you digest your ear, then it will have a bitter taste, and if you overcook, the fish will come out tasteless and dry. And finally a recipe for cutlets from cod fillets. We pass it through a meat grinder or finely cut with a knife, add crushed onions, melted cheese and a milk roll soaked in milk.
