This is one of the most popular ways to protect the basement floors. This product is sold in cans and used in a mixture with a concrete solution. The minus of this method is considered to be some difficulty in the performance. The fact is that after adding the liquid glass to the concrete, the latter loses its plasticity and grasps literally in a few minutes. Therefore, the kneading has to be done in very small quantities.

Liquid rubber

With the use of modern mastics can also be made reliable waterproofing of the cellar from the inside. Materials on bitumen base with latex additives (liquid rubber) create an elastic and very strong moisture-proof film on the walls and floor of the basement floor. How to waterproof a cellar with liquid rubber

Next, consider another popular way to protect the socle floors from moisture. Waterproofing the cellars from the inside with their own hands using liquid rubber is performed in several stages. First of all, it is necessary to arrange good ventilation of the room. As in the first case, the walls and the floor are first cleaned of dirt, various kinds of stains, paint residues or plaster. Also, all surfaces must be dust-free. This can be done using a conventional vacuum cleaner.

Further, the surface of the walls and floor is primed with a special agent, usually coming with a liquid rubber. Then they themselves apply bitumen-latex mastic itself. Grease can be carried out by any convenient tool - brush, spatula, roller. When doing this work, you need to carefully monitor the fact that all gaps, corners and joints are filled with rubber. Of course, it is unlikely that someone will make such a complex treatment with their own hands, but we will briefly consider how to make a waterproofing of the cellar from the inside with injections. This operation is performed as follows:

  • In the wall holes are drilled 2 cm deep at a distance of half a meter from each other.
  • Further in them, with the help of special equipment, the injection compound is injected.
  • Then, various measures are taken to protect the surfaces from mold.
  • At the final stage, the walls are additionally plastered.

Penetrating waterproofing by yourself
