The water reservoir is the main and most convenient method for storing, accumulating and issuing supplies of drinking and technical water. It is used in many areas of human activity, where you need to store and store fluids. These containers have found wide application in everyday life among the population. They are also used in food, agrarian, chemical, pharmaceutical and other industries.

Application

Different industries require an appropriate amount of water of a certain quality. Containers made of plastic are made of industrial polypropylene or polyethylene, where you can store food. Thanks to this, they can contain not only technical water, but also drinking water. Plastic water tanks differ in structure and shape, depending on the field of application. Capacities storing drinking water are usually performed in blue and are marked with a special mark. They do not miss ultraviolet rays and are completely harmless, so they do not give the water any taste or smell, even with prolonged storage. Any plastic containers are hermetic and resistant to many environmental influences. They have a long service life (about 50 years with proper use) and do not require repair work and painting. Plastic tanks are stable on all surfaces. They have a number of advantages over metallic analogs, these are:

Plastic containers are widely used in production, irrigation in suburban areas, washing areas or streets, storing water in baths, extinguishing fires and for other economic purposes.

Fire tanks

Fire water tanks are used to create a reserve of a certain volume of water, which, if necessary, will be used to eliminate fires. These tanks with technical water do not depend on the water supply system, so they are indispensable in enterprises that do not have access to a water source. Some types are carried out with a partition, which makes it possible, with a scheduled inspection or maintenance, not to shut down the enterprise from the fire extinguishing system . Also, containers with two sections are used when mixing two kinds of liquid, which more effectively eliminates fire.

Fire tanks can be of different models, which allows you to choose the best option for the fire protection system of any enterprise. The organization with a small area with the help of an underground reservoir is able to effectively apply the ground area and significantly reduce the loss of water from the evaporation process. Another popular option is the ground installation of the tank on the supports at a height of 3 m to 7 m. With this arrangement, the liquid is supplied without the use of an electric pump, which is very important in case of a fire in the absence of electricity. If an option is required to be installed inside the production facility, a rectangular container will be an excellent solution, which can be used simultaneously as a storage for fire water and industrial water. Fire water tank is made of ordinary or stainless steel, as well as plastic. Steel storage facilities have a long service life, on average not less than 10 years, and are used at temperatures from -60 ° C to +35 ° C. However, a container made of ordinary steel has a lower price than a technical stainless steel, but it requires a scheduled repair and mandatory external and internal painting after a certain time. It is galvanized to protect the case.

Washing machine with water reservoir

Automatic washing machines today are indispensable in every home, but for their operation you need a constant supply of water. If there is no centralized water supply, for example in rural areas, or there are water disruptions, as well as low pressure on the upper floor of the old high-rise building, its connection can cause difficulties. The solution to this problem will be a water tank. The washing machine will be provided with the necessary inlet pressure, thanks to a storage tank, into which water can be poured by any methods: from the water supply system , from the well with a pump, buckets from the imported tank and in other ways. In rural houses, the tank is usually installed in an attic space or at a height of not less than three meters.

Some manufacturers of washing machines produce ready-made models with a water reservoir. They come with both automatic filling of water from the common system, which will be an excellent solution for apartments with problem water supply, and with manual filling in the absence of water. The latter are more suitable for rural houses without running water.
