Citizens of Russia for obtaining permission to enter should apply to the consular departments at the Embassy of the country not only in Moscow or St. Petersburg, but also in Vladivostok. Documents must be submitted through the so-called Indian visa centers in the cities mentioned. These are accredited intermediaries, for whose services you need to pay a special fee. He is one hundred and thirty-five rubles per person. This applies to absolutely all tourists, including children, who are inscribed in the parent's passport. A visa to India for Russians is issued within three to four working days. For CIS citizens residing in the Russian Federation, the time limit for opening an entry permit is increased to ten days.

In India, it is impossible to obtain permission to enter land, sea borders, and also at airports. The only exception is the Goa air gate. If you arrive on vacation by a group, having issued a tour through an Indian tour operator, a visa to India for Russians is issued upon arrival at Dabolim airport. But tourists take passports during their holidays, and Temporary Landing Permit is issued instead.
What is expected in the future?
As one of the ministers of this state Rajiv Shukla said, from October 2014, a visa for India to Russians can be opened "on arrival". This applies not only to the Dabolim airport in Goa, but also to nine other cities, including the capital city of Delhi and Mumbai. Such a one-time entry permit will be valid for thirty days.
