Vegetative dysfunction: a clinical picture of pathology

Today, vegetative disorders are very common. In medical practice, vegetative dysfunction is not considered a separate disease, but rather a syndrome, that is, a complex of pathological abnormalities that can be characteristic of certain diseases. First, let's try to track the dynamics of the pathological process.

Autonomic dysfunction in childhood arises, which is actively promoted by oxygen starvation in the womb, trauma at birth, pathology of the nervous system, a hereditary factor, as well as a number of infant diseases transferred at an early age. Such anomalies are the main cause of the inferior activity of the VNS, and, as a result, the progression of the pathological processes of many important organs. So, often a child has an elevated body temperature after the final recovery. Also, such children are susceptible to changes in the weather, are inactive, often feel dizzy, nauseated, and generally weak.

Autonomic dysfunction can become more active during puberty, when a chaotic imbalance predominates in the adolescent's body, that is, a complete restructuring takes place. Potential patients during this period feel increased fatigue, emotional instability, memory loss and apathy.

The adult organism experiences all the "charms" of vegetative dysfunction against the background of already existing chronic diseases, in particular, pathologies of the endocrine glands and organic lesions of the brain in traumas of various origins, tumors and as a result of strokes. In addition, the cause of autonomic dysfunction can be suffered emotional upheaval, including stress, nerves, mental disorders, as well as hormonal failures and body features.

An extremely unpleasant disease is vegetative dysfunction, the symptoms of which significantly worsen the general condition of a person. Exacerbations of diseases can occur in all organs. Thus, cardiac manifestations can be expressed by pain in the heart, tachycardia and impaired heartbeat; Respiratory - hindered absorption of air and its shortage; Disdynamic - jump in blood pressure, dyspeptic - pathology of digestion. In addition, sexual dysfunction (in particular, anorgasmia), pathology of the urinary system and neuropsychiatric manifestations can occur, which can be expressed by a violation of sleep, excessive emotionality, depression, panic attacks.

Vegetative dysfunction of the sinus node manifests itself most often at retirement age and is characterized by a violation of the blood supply of the sinus-atrial node - a kind of "regulator" of the heart rhythm. This pathology can progress against the background of senile amyloidosis and other conditions, accompanied by infiltration of the myocardium of the atria. Sometimes it is very difficult to detect this disease on your own, and the manifestation of characteristic symptoms is possible only with increased physical and psychological stress, taking certain cardiac drugs. With such pathogenic factors in the diseased organism there is no acceleration of the sinus rhythm in conditions that habitually activate it.

If to speak about productive treatment, it is necessary to specify that vegetative dysfunction, first of all, requires detailed clinical diagnosis, consultation of a psychiatrist and a number of medical studies. The disease has a chronic form, so the patient in the formulation of such a diagnosis must learn to live in his condition. As an effective prevention, you can recommend to study special respiratory gymnastics, as well as completely give up smoking and alcohol. In addition, regular walks in the fresh air and positive emotions are helpful.
