  1. If the croup is large enough, then soak it for 3-4 hours (you can overnight).
  2. Drain the water and, bay clean, cook the barley (1 cup) until ready in two glasses of water.
  3. At this time, one onion (finely chopped) and one carrot (grated), fry in vegetable oil (2-3 tablespoons), until the oil changes color to an attractive orange.
  4. Peeled and chopped fresh mushrooms - mushrooms (400 g) pour into the vegetable mass and cook over medium heat until the liquid evaporates (minutes 20-25). This ingredient can also be used in frozen or dried form (leave it in the water for 1 hour to swell).
  5. In the stew mixture put the crumbly porridge, salt and let it sink under the lid for a few minutes. If the dish is not vegetarian, then you can put a teaspoon of butter.
