Variety 'Stolypin' - tomato, favorite by truck farmers

Tomato belongs to the Solanaceae family. This vegetable was cultivated in Europe around the 16th century. But the ancestral home of tomato is South America. Vegetable is suitable for consumption both fresh and in canned, salted and marinated. For preservation, the "Stolypin tomato" variety and some other popular varieties are excellent.

Tomato is an ordinary one-year culture. The plant loves light and warmth. A tasty and nutritious vegetable grows at twenty to twenty-five degrees Celsius. With a critical drop in temperature from fifteen to one or two degrees, a tomato can slow growth or die.

The soil for a given culture should be sufficient, but not excessively moistened. 60-70% of soil moisture and 45-50% of air humidity are the most favorable conditions for growth and maturation. Overabundance of moisture leads to fissure fissures and fragility of the inflorescences, which begin to fall off. Optimal soil saturation is 4.5 pH. The soil must be sufficiently warm and saturated with humus.

Many varieties of tomatoes, in particular "Stolypin tomato", contain vitamins: B1, B2, as well as P, PP and C. Other substances are present in tomato fruits, for example, citric and apple acids (the ripe fruit is meant), proteins , Carbohydrates, potassium and sodium salts, phosphorus, iron, calcium.

Grow tomatoes more often seedlings, which are planted in a greenhouse or under a film. In the open ground it is transplanted when it lasts about 60 days in a greenhouse. The soil for planting pre-prepared seedlings should be well fertilized and warmed.

It is best to plant tomatoes in the soil, where such crops as cucumbers, onions, cabbage, sugar corn or peas grew.

The soil of open beds must be very fertile. The fact is that tomatoes absorb from it a large number of nutrient nutrients. To form roots, you need phosphorus. Potassium and phosphorus help to speed up the appearance of flowers, then the ripening of the fruit. In addition, with their sufficient content in the soil, tomato will be better able to withstand various diseases. Some varieties of tomatoes are resistant to many diseases. So is the "Stolypin" tomato. Reviews about it can be read on the Internet and special literature. This variety well resists late blight.

Growth and maturation of fruits is strongly influenced by nitrogen. If there is little nitrogen, the plants begin to turn pale and fade. Reduced resistance to disease. If nitrogen is more than enough, leaves and shoots begin to outgrow. In this case, the development of the fetus is suspended. Another important point concerns air. Roots and seeds should receive it in sufficient quantity, otherwise the growth of the plant is disturbed.

Types of shrubs and timing of maturation

Depending on the size of the bush, plants are interminant, determinant and semi-determinant. The first grow in height from 2 to 8 meters with the transition to the lateral processes. Some varieties, like the "Stolypin" tomato variety, are deterministic. In the latter, the growth of the main stem is limited to more modest indices - 0.4-0.8 m. The stem and stepsons grow until several fruiting brushes appear, then stop growing. As the inflorescence, and later the fruits appear on the bush almost synchronously.

In turn, the deterministic low-growth varieties are divided into stems and ordinary ones. Stamp bush is compact, has corrugated leaves.

The timing of maturation depends on the variety and type of bush. For example, the same "Stolypin tomato" ripens within 100 days. Later in terms of ripening varieties refer to medium-ripening varieties. Their ripeness is 105-120 days. There are also late-ripening varieties, which need about 140 days to ripen the fetus.

Selected variety "Stolypin tomato" is great for canning.
