UAZ-452 vehicle: specifications

"Tablet", or "loaf", in official documents is called UAZ-452. The technical characteristics of this machine allow using it to this day. Mass production began in 1965. This is a two-axle cargo-and-passenger car, which has a rather high throughput. The name "loaf" arose because of the external similarity with the shape of bread. The UAZ-452 engine is represented by the GAZ-21 unit.

Modifications of the "tablet", manufactured from 1965 to 1979, were equipped with colorless turn signals. These lights were round in shape. The body lines were dominated by smooth lines, which gave some resemblance to the oval.

How was the machine created?

The very first prototype was the well-known UAZ-452 box, which had a back door. Due to its flat chassis and slightly convex "face", the model was called "loaf", which is used to this day.

The restyling of the model was carried out in 1985 - it is being manufactured to this day. Modified models have acquired new names. The manufacturer managed to reduce the weight of the car, improve its comfort. The entire line, which consisted of a small van and a truck, was called the UAZ-452. The volume of the tank is 56 liters. The carrying capacity of the original version is 1225 kg, in new models the figure has dropped to 925 kg. The total weight does not exceed 3 thousand kg for the whole line. The clearance is 220 mm.
