Of course, I want everything new and brilliant, especially for girls, but the question is: will it be insulting to scratch the wing (door, hood, trunk) on a brand-new car that is a couple of weeks old? And such minor accidents at the initial stage are inevitable, no matter how you try to avoid them. And how these small accidents, which in fact do not affect the driving qualities of the car, will affect its further value. Regardless of whether you stopped your choice on a new or used car, money at its purchase should not be the last. Always leave a N-th amount, either for repairs, or for the upcoming MOT. And if you decide to buy a new car, trust in this knowledgeable people. Well, if the "pedigree" of your chosen car will be as "transparent" as possible, it's even better - when the car is familiar to you "not by hearsay", that is, if possible, taken from relatives / friends.
Price. In addition to the cost of the car, count all necessary payments - insurance, registration, additional equipment. If the autumn-winter period is in the yard, and you may be less than zero outside this window - add the cost of winter tires safely. And she, believe me, can be very "biting". Then the final price of the purchase will be drawn.
Dimensions. Choose the sizes for your needs. Equally absurdly looks like the head of the family with three children at the wheel of a city microcar, and an 18-year-old thin girl in a huge SUV. The machine should not be big or small, especially if in six months or a year you plan to transfer to a car of another class.
Automatic or mechanic. As for study, it is better to have a car with a mechanical box, after all, the machine will then be much easier to learn. Exceptions - you firmly believe that once a person has two legs, then there should be two pedals. And on the "mechanic" at the wheel you will never have to drive. Although to be sure of 100% in something is not necessary.
Front, rear or permanent all-wheel drive. The newcomer at first does not feel a difference, and then the accumulated experience will help make his conscious choice.
And a few more tips.
Do not be afraid of "traffic jams" and other difficult road conditions. You still need to ride them, so do not delay these "delights" for later. Have to learn to ride, whether we like it or not.
