I'll tell you an episode from my life. My godfather, who was already bedridden for the second year, needed to be transferred to a neighboring city to relatives, since she had to be provided with the necessary treatment there. Today, the transportation of patients is an ordinary service. However, I am sure that some will agree with me that only those who are faced with similar problems know about this. Carrying a patient on an ordinary car is uncomfortable and unsafe: you can hurt a disabled person. You remember what kind of broken highway we have in the state. There remains one option - specialized transport, which not only provides comfort to the paralyzed person, but also an accompanying person. After vain searches of the appropriate vehicles through their channels, I went for help to one company specializing in the transportation of patients. On the site, I looked at information about transport, tariffs, conditions of service. That is, I was informed about their work.
Contrary to the fact that the minibus was moving at a low speed, we got there quite quickly, most likely, due to the fact that the trip was not inconvenient. I would like to note a significant point. It was in the summer and I, honest in my heart, believed that the car would be hot, and was pleasantly surprised when a company employee reported that absolutely all cars are equipped with air conditioning. By the way, such a system also ensures the heating of the car in the cold season. As it turned out, the transport for disabled people is not just a car, which has a place for wheeling, in this car there is all the necessary technical equipment, which may require a way. In my case, when registering the transportation, small details of its fulfillment are stipulated: the choice of the shortest route, the vehicle, the number of people who will accompany, additional equipment. It was pleasantly surprised that the transportation of disabled people implies taking an invalid out of the room and moving him to a new place. So, I did not have to personally raise the wheelchair, but I would have done it if it was necessary. In general, the service was amazing.
In case you think that it is a troublesome task to transport a sick person, I advise you to use specialized companies, which in our time are huge. Undoubtedly, this is not free, but I am convinced that hardly anyone wants to save money on a native person. I can not say how much it costs to transport patients, because a lot depends on different indicators, such as the length of the journey. However, I can say for sure that this is affordable for all of us. I would like to focus on the selection of a variety of transportation options. For example, if you need to transport a disabled person, you need a specialized car with a ramp. Despite my advice and experience, I wish that no one could use this service, I want to be healthy and not be sick.
