Borsch with pampushkas: recipe for cooking

A traditional Ukrainian dish is borsch with pampushkas. The recipe for this soup consists of many different ingredients that can be added or excluded depending on taste preferences. But the basis of any kind of dish is beet. We offer to cook real Ukrainian borsch with pampushkas.

Recipe

This dish needs the following ingredients:

  • Meat with bones - about 700 grams;
  • Several fruits of potatoes (300 grams);
  • Fresh cabbage (200 grams);
  • Bulgarian pepper - half of a large fruit;
  • 1-2 beets of medium size;
  • A few tomatoes (or tomato paste);
  • Beef or pork fat (about 40 grams);
  • 1 medium carrot and onion;
  • Root of parsley (about 40 grams);
  • A spoonful of sugar and flour;
  • A small piece of bacon (20 grams);
  • 1-2 cloves of garlic;
  • Sour cream (about 50 grams);
  • Salt, spices, herbs.

Technology of preparation

1st step

How to cook borsch with pampushkas? The recipe contains many different ingredients, but there is nothing technically complicated in it. Start by preparing the meat. It needs to be washed and cooked. It is necessary to prepare a meat broth. After boiling, remove the foam, cook pork for 40 minutes, beef - 1-1.5 hours. Remove the broth from the meat. Leave it to cool. Empty the liquid and let it boil again. Remove all bones from meat, cut into pieces.

Step 2

Wash potatoes and cut into small cubes. Put in a boiling broth. Shred cabbage and peppers. Add to the potatoes and cook for 20 minutes.

Step 3

In a frying pan, on hot oil, pass the beetroot, carrots, roots and onions. They should first be ground with a knife or grater. In the end, you need to lay a tomato paste or fresh sliced tomatoes and a spoonful of flour. Stew for 15 minutes.

Step 4

Season the borsch with the seasoned vegetables. Add salt. Savor the taste of sugar. After about 5 minutes, add black pepper, bay leaves, rubbed with garlic and parsley greens. Boil the borscht. Remove from heat and allow to infuse. In serving plates, arrange pieces of sliced meat, sour cream and greens.

The photo of the ready-made buns demonstrates how delicious they can be if they are prepared according to the following recipe. To do this you will need:

  • Wheat flour - 3 incomplete glasses (about 550 grams);
  • Plain water (or milk) - 1.5 cups (300 ml);
  • Sugar - a teaspoon (about 25 grams);
  • Packing of dry yeast (10-12 grams);
  • Chicken egg - 2 pieces;
  • A piece of butter (50 grams);
  • Salt - half a teaspoon;

For garlic filling:

  • 1-2 heads of garlic (denticles eight);
  • A few spoons of vegetable oil (3-4 spoons);
  • salt;
  • An incomplete glass of water (180 ml).

Technology of preparation

Borsch with pampushkas is a recipe of Ukrainian national cuisine. Garlic buns are an excellent addition to a rich soup. You can prepare them by following the instructions:

1st step

Put the flour in a container. Put a bag of dry yeast to it. Stir.

Step 2

Preheat the milk (or water) to 36-40 degrees. Sprinkle salt and sugar. Drive in the egg. Mix everything thoroughly.

Step 3

Melt a piece of butter. Pour into the sugar-egg mixture. Mix everything again. Gradually add flour. Knead the dough.

Step 4

Cover the dough in a mold, cover with a towel or food film. Leave to go in a warm place for an hour and a half. As the dough fits, pierce it.

Step 5

After the dough is suitable, it is necessary to form balls from it. The weight of one should be about 30-50 grams. Put them on a baking sheet, oiled. Leave it for a while for proofing.

6th step

Whisk the egg and use a silicone brush to grease the buns.

7th step

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Put a baking sheet in it and bake it. Approximate time is 15 minutes.

8th step

While preparing pampushki, make garlic sauce. To do this, rub garlic with salt, add vegetable oil and cold water.

9th step

Lubricate the bun sauce. Serve hot borsch with pampushkas.
