This tender Campanella is flowers and music ...

Nature has endowed us with great happiness: to see all the beauty and brightness of the world, to smell the rain, frost, earth, grass and, of course, to inhale the delightful fragrance of flowers. Flowers are the most beautiful creatures, delicate, pretentious or refined in their simplicity, they make us think about the beautiful and the sad, because human life is just as short-lived as the beauty of the petals that live very shortly and withering in a couple of days. They can say for us something about which the heart is silent. They are free, but ... they are slaves of their beauty and human desire for beauty. Today we are talking about the representative of the flower kingdom - Campanella.

Campanella: flowers and not only

Campanella is not only a flower, but also the name of an Enlightenment philosopher , and even a musical genre that uses the ringing of bells. And the Campanella are the flowers (photo below) of the Bellflower family. Campanella is sometimes called Campanula. Campanella - flowers are very delicate, pleasing to any florist. You can grow them both in the garden and in the pot: they are great for living on the windowsill. If you want to decorate the garden bed with bells, then this is a wonderful idea: they will make friends with both the mallow and the carnation.

Campanella (flowers). Variety of plants

The word "Campanula" often means many related plants. Basically these are biennials.

Campanella garden

High herbaceous plant, reaches up to one and a half meters. A thick stem, on which are alternately arranged small leaves of elongated shape (up to 5 cm), sometimes slightly rough to the touch. Flowers - bell-shaped, white, pink, lilac or blue. Quite a stable plant, unpretentious in care.

Campaign equal

Apartment bells. Thin, fragile stems and heart-shaped, slightly rounded leaves. Remarkably feels in the pot, but with age, gradually blooming. The flowers are very fragile, white with a shade of cream or light blue. Likes spraying.

Handbell Medium

A wonderful garden campaigner. Flowers of various colors, very large, up to 7 cm, often of goblet shape, along the entire length adorn the stem up to a meter long. Many saw their wild relatives in nature. Unfortunately, by the third year of growth, flowering has ceased, and the plant is dying.

Flowers Campanella. Care of bells

Basically these flowers are unpretentious, however there are some nuances. Campanulas grown on a flower bed, prefer the ground with an admixture of lime - the soil should not be acidic. It is desirable to grow on light, loose and soft ground. Plant bells on the sunny warm side, protect from the wind and cover for the winter. Water regularly, but do not overhydrate, and then the plant will die, feed once a month and a half or two, give support to tall plants. The same flowers growing at home, you should create the following conditions: a lot of light and moderate watering (the soil is always slightly damp). In winter, flowers can be carried to the balcony (up to fifteen degrees). Enjoy the hanging bells in the air! Peace to your home!
