Regular exercises reduce the rate of weight loss, but completely from weakness do not save. Astronauts, after returning to Earth, are rehabilitated.

In addition, during flights there is a loss of bone mass - the tissues literally "dissolve" because of the lack of gravity. To support the body and the immune system, astronauts are required to take special complexes of drugs.

The second nuance associated with being on a spaceship is a sensitive sense of smell. Those who are on the ISS because of the influx of blood into the upper body strongly (by 30% or more) exacerbated perception. It is noted that cosmonauts perceive even the slightest fragrance as a sharp stink. Therefore, the organizers of flights ensure that food, supplies and equipment for the space station do not smell.

The cosmonauts themselves should not use odoriferous substances (perfumes, deodorants, fragrant soaps, ointments, etc.) and are required to monitor the level of sweating. Clothing and underwear have gaskets made of antibacterial tissue, and there is a shower for cleaning on the ISS.

Another danger that can destroy a person in space is connected with the mental state. Guaranteed protection from depression and sudden hysteria does not exist. To reduce mental instability, astronauts are required to comply with the regime - get enough sleep in the cells with imitation of the night (darkening) or with a mask for sleep, regularly take water and food (600 grams per day), and alternate their work and playing sports.

In general, space is defined as an aggressive environment, much more dangerous than the highlands or the desert. Evolutionarily man is not adapted for existence outside the Earth, and for those in space the probability of death (including sudden) increases tens of times.
