The prisons of Russia are places where it is better not to get

Probably, there is no worse place for a man than a prison. Places where there are no relatives and friends, where there is no support and care. Only cold and gloomy walls with small windows, or even without them. The prisons of Russia can for a long time become a "home" for those who stumbled and are forced to suffer punishment.

"I'll sit for other people's sins ..."

Nobody in life is immune from misconduct. Everyone, for various reasons, may one day find himself on the other side of the lattice. And if for some the word "Butyrka" is associated with a popular musical group, then others are familiar with this place firsthand.

Butyrskaya prison is one of the largest places of detention in Moscow, which is located on Novoslobodskaya street near Butyrskaya Zastava between houses. The prison has been known since the end of the 18th century. Many famous people were her prisoners. For example, NE Bauman, FE Dzerzhinsky, VV Mayakovsky, E. Pugachev. One of the towers of the prison even bears the name of its "lodger" - Pugachev. Strange sounds are sometimes heard from her basement. Could it be the cries of innocent punished souls? In a word, a terrible terrain.

The second place among the glorified dungeons is occupied by "Crosses". The prison was named because of the peculiarities of its structure. Criminals sentenced to solitary confinement are targeted here. At this stage, the prison is planned to be moved beyond the city limits, and this building is to be sold (and for a tidy sum!).

The next in the list of "famous prisons of Russia" - Lefortovo prison - a place marked by cruelty and severity. The prison was founded in the 19th century and at first was a refuge of small thieves and robbers. The building has four floors, each of which has fifty chambers. Lefortovo "kutuzka" is covered with mystery and darkness. So far, no journalist has been able to penetrate there. So no one knows what life is like from inside.

The most terrible prisons in Russia

It so happened that some places of imprisonment more than others lead to fear and horror on the prisoners. The most terrible and brutal nickname was called the prison "Black Dolphin", which is in the Orenburg region. In terms of the number of places, this is the largest colony, which in its entire history "did not miss" a single hostage. This prison is also called a place for suicide bombers, because they are serving their sentence for life. Prisoners of the "Black Dolphin" are the most brutal murderers and rapists, cannibals and terrorists, whose hands killed thousands of innocent people.

During the day, it is forbidden to sit in bunks in a dungeon, and always take them out blindfolded for a walk. Condemned willy-nilly turns into obedient robots-zombies. But even this life can be used.

The second terrible place for criminals is the White Swan, whose contingent is prisoners convicted of especially grave crimes. Serving a term on this zone will completely dispel myths about the distant nineties. There was more than one "thief-in-law" broken.

Women's prisons in Russia

In the Russian Federation, out of 739 existing colonies, 35 women have colonies. In ten of them you can serve the sentence together with the child (Samara, Sverdlovsk region, Khabarovsk, Chelyabinsk, Vladimir, Moscow and Kemerovo regions).

Often women go to prison, already being pregnant. The birth of the baby does not affect the punishment in any way (only in certain cases it can shorten the term). The life of these "moms" looks a little better - the food is more useful, and the walks are more durable, so many people keep their pregnancy because of such indulgences. After giving birth, children are allowed to spend only a few hours a day. When the child reaches the age of three, he is given either to the orphanage or to the next of kin. If there are none, and the orphanage is overcrowded, it is likely that Russia's prisons will become "homes" for children.

Life goes on

Those people who go to prison for the first time always have a thought: "Well, that's all! Life is over ... ». But this is far from the case. Behind the bars, life does not end, but even vice versa, a new one begins. New rules, a new society, new interests and occupations.

Prisoners have their own daily routine, in which, besides work, there is a place and rest. Many prisons in Russia are equipped with sports grounds, libraries, recreation rooms, where you can watch a documentary or a film. There are also small churches in places of confinement, because it's never too late to repent.

If we talk about work, then there is no easy work in prison. Basically, prisoners are engaged in casting from steel, processing wood and sewing all sorts of things. So time passes faster, and you can earn a penny.

God works in mysterious ways...

Nobody in this life is ever insured. An exemplary and law-abiding citizen today can become a criminal-recidivist tomorrow. Serving a term is re-education, rebirth, this is a new view of existence. And though the cruelest life-long prisons in Russia (like the "Black Dolphin" and the "White Swan") are catching up with anguish and fear, it is important to remember that there is a completely different life there.
