The place for smoking was defined by the Federal Law

In the entire civilized world, an active struggle against smoking has long been conducted. Some countries overestimate the cost of excise taxes on tobacco products, resulting in a price increase in cigarettes several times. Others introduce a general ban on smoking. Lovers and opponents of smoking were eagerly awaiting the release of the Federal Law, and at that time the country was seized with so many of the most controversial rumors that neither the first nor the second could understand this information mess. Someone said that there would not be places for smoking at all, someone, on the contrary, argued that smoking places in general are not going to be restricted. In fact, everything turned out not so categorically. Articles 12 and 13 of the FZ do not specifically identify any place for smoking, but it is exhaustively determined where smoking is not allowed.

So, from July 1, 2013 smoking is forbidden in any educational institutions and institutions of culture, sports, as well as bodies for youth affairs. Smokers moving by any mode of transport, except their own, will have to deny themselves a cigarette until the end of the journey. The only available place for smoking is stops.

Among other things, smoking is prohibited in hotels, hostels, dormitories, shops, markets, any catering establishments , local government offices, social services, workplaces and in organized premises.

To someone who is used to smoking in the entrance, also have to look for an alternative. Smoking in the entrances and elevators of houses is now illegal, as is smoking in the territory of medical institutions. If there is a playground in your yard, then you can not smoke there either.

The question arises: "Where can you still enjoy the tobacco smoke?" There are established rules in order to open a place for smoking. The requirements are simple: they should be isolated from all working premises, have an area of no more than 75 squares and be removed at least five meters from all of the above objects if they are on the street. In the end, the society adopted this law quite loyal. True, with its observance, as well as with bringing to account, there are certain difficulties. After all, in order to impose a fine on a smoker, it must be caught by the hand, and it must be done by a policeman, and this is problematic, because it is almost impossible to prove the fact of smoking itself.
