The drug "Ringer's solution" refers to the group of electrolytes and is a rehydrating agent. The main pharmacological purpose of this medication is to perform the function of normalizing the water and electrolyte blood composition.

The drug "Ringer's Solution," whose composition is described in detail in his instructions, contains in one liter of 8.6 g of sodium chloride, 0.33 g of calcium chloride and 0.3 g of potassium chloride. As an auxiliary substance, water intended for injection is used in it. When using a medicament to normalize the volume of blood circulating in the body, it retains its effect for thirty to forty minutes. At the end of this time, the drug leaves the extravascular spaces and is removed from the patient's body with urine.

- with extensive burns;

- in case of severe course of the recovery period after surgical operations;

- for poisoning of various types.

Therapeutic doses are selected by a specialist individually and depend on the patient's condition. The maximum amount of solution entered within a day should not exceed three liters. The drug can also be used externally. In this case, it is used to wash the wounds.
