The drug "Bronhomunal" instructions for use refers to the clinical and pharmacological group of immunostimulating drugs of bacterial origin. The drug is available in the form of hard gelatinous opaque capsules (three and a half or seven milligrams). Their contents are a beige powder.

The active substance is represented by a lyophilized bacterial lysate, and anhydrous propyl gallate, sodium glutamate, magnesium stearate, mannitol, gelatinized starch, titanium dioxide, gelatin, indigotine are among the auxiliary components.

The drug goes on sale in blisters, placed in cardboard packs.

Pharmaceutical preparation "Bronhomunal" provides stimulation of humoral and cellular immunity. It also reduces the incidence and severity of infections, which reduces the need for antibiotics.

The medication "Bronhomunal" is prescribed for use in the following cases:

· For the treatment of diseases of the respiratory tract of an infectious nature (including in children aged six months).

· To prevent recurrence of infections located in the lower and upper respiratory tract, such as tonsillitis, bronchitis, laryngitis, pharyngitis, sinusitis, otitis, rhinitis.

For children over the age of twelve and adults, seven milligrams of medication per day are indicated, and patients between six months and twelve are prescribed three and a half milligram daily.

The drug is taken once a day on an empty stomach (preferably in the morning hours). If it is impossible to swallow the whole capsule, you can open it and dilute the medicinal powder with juice, milk or tea.

For preventive purposes (for the prevention of infectious diseases) it is recommended to conduct three ten-day therapeutic courses with interruptions of twenty days.

In the acute phase of the disease it is shown to take one capsule per day until the symptoms disappear completely, but not less than ten days.

The drug "Bronchomunal" is a medicine that does not cause any side effects. In rare cases, violations of the digestive system (pain in the epigastric region, loose stools, nausea, or vomiting) are recorded, as well as an increase in the body temperature of the patient.

With a slight severity of unwanted effects, it is not necessary to cancel taking the drug.

This drug is contraindicated for individual intolerance of its components.

If necessary, the medication can be used for breastfeeding and while waiting for the child, but it should be done with extreme caution and only under the supervision of the attending physician.
