The content of education and its main components

The content of education is a certain amount of skills, knowledge and skills in a particular discipline, which is selected from the relevant areas on the basis of those didactic principles that are available.

With the help of certain sources of information and resources (technical and visual, teaching aids), the selected information is transmitted to the trainees.

The components of the content of education include emotional and value relationships, skills, accumulated creativity, knowledge.

- a connection with life, which is a way to verify the reality of the formed skills and studied knowledge and as a universal tool that reinforces school education with real practice;

- systematic, which involves considering the formed skills and studied knowledge in the system and the construction of all training courses as systems that are part of the overall system of human culture and each other;

- Historism, which means the development of one or another branch of science in school courses, the coverage of the activities of brilliant scientists in connection with the topics under study;

- the sequence, which consists in the planning of the content, it develops along the ascending line, all new knowledge here is able to rely on the previous and flow from it;

- scientific character, which is manifested in accordance with the knowledge of the latest achievements of the cultural, social and scientific process offered for schooling;

- Humanity, which ensures the priority of human health, universal values and free development of the individual.

The structure of the content of education is as follows. The transfer of knowledge to new situations, the vision of the problem, the definition of new solutions, the combination of the newest elements of the known is the experience of creative activity. Emotional-value relations are personal and communicative guidelines. Skills and skills are practical and intellectual. Knowledge is information about the surrounding world, they include facts, concepts and categories.

The content of education is a pedagogically and socially oriented system of knowledge, accumulated experience of emotionally valuable attitudes, accumulated knowledge of creative activity, experience of activity.

While forming the content of education, a number of documents are used: the curriculum, the curriculum, the textbook.

The curriculum is a state document that sets out for a particular school a list of subjects studied, distributes them by years, indicates the annual and weekly amount of time that is allocated to the study of each subject. The plan for the school (the content of education) will be chosen by the school council.

General education programs are aimed at forming a common culture of the individual, adapting it in society, creating a basis for mastering and selecting professional general education programs.

The content of education consists of programs of complete (secondary) general education, basic, primary, preschool, they are classified as general educational.
