Sturgeon baked in the oven

Sturgeon is considered a fish worthy of the royal table. And it is not accidental, because it has many useful substances that have a beneficial effect on the human body. White meat, which is commonly called red, has virtually no bones, they are replaced by cartilages, which can be eaten. The recipe for sturgeon in the oven is the most popular among culinary experts, as the fish is tasty, and cooks quickly and simply.

Sturgeon in its own juice

To prepare the dish, take the whole fish. Sturgeon should be washed, cleaned and gutted. Take food foil and lubricate with any oil. Place the fish on it, salt, pepper, wrap, so that the juice can not flow out during frying, put on a baking tray and put in the oven. The cooking time will be 40-50 minutes. Sturgeon baked in the oven in this way, preserves all its useful fats, turns juicy and tastes very much like chicken. This is a low-calorie product and can be used as a dietary dish.

You can slightly change the taste of the dish if the fish is pre-stuffed with vegetables. Most often, for these purposes, take onions and carrots. Onion is crumbled in half rings, fried in vegetable oil. Carrots tinder on a large grater and also fry. Be sure to add them in the process of frying, then they get better. Fried onions and carrots mix and stuff them with the abdominal cavity of sturgeon. Screw in foil and bake. That's how sturgeon is baked in the oven with vegetables. To the onions and carrots, if desired, you can add mushrooms or nuts.

Recipes without foil

Sturgeon baked entirely in the oven, can be prepared open, then you get a beautiful crust, which is decorated with white sauces and lemon when served to the table.

In such cases, it is desirable to bake fish on a vegetable cushion. For these purposes, potatoes are excellent, especially as it is considered a correct side dish for fish.

About a kilogram of potatoes washed, cleaned and cut into thin circles. Put them on a greased sheet and sprinkle with salt. From above place the salted and peppered sturgeon, grease it with a thin layer of mayonnaise or fish sauce and send it to the oven for 50 minutes.

Sturgeon baked in the oven can be prepared without a vegetable pillow. You can simply lubricate it with mayonnaise and sprinkle with grated cheese, then bake. For this purpose, you can use claret or egg. Then the fish can be cleaned from a thick skin, which is difficult to chew even after prolonged cooking. Sturgeon slices

You can cook sturgeon baked in the oven slices. To do this, the fish should be washed, cleaned, gutted, divided in half and removed from the ridge. Then carefully peel the skin, and cut the fillet into pieces 2-3 cm wide.

On a baking sheet lay a layer of chopped onions, then potatoes, coated with mayonnaise sauce. For its preparation, take the mayonnaise and mix it with chopped fresh herbs. Then lay a piece of fish, on it another layer of onions, and again fish. Cover with potatoes, generously sprinkle with grated cheese and put in the oven for an hour.

It turns out a kind of a layered pie from potatoes with fish. Serve it should be cut into squares of 10 by 10 cm, decorating the plate with green salad leaves, and on top of the "pie" lay a few rings of red or yellow bell pepper. Perfect complement and decoration of dishes from sturgeon are slices of lemon and fresh tomato.
