Meat stew is quite a useful and satisfying dish of Russian cuisine. He can be refused unless he is a vegetarian.

How to cook meat stew? The recipe is actually quite simple. You only need time (usually a stew is prepared for one and a half to two hours, but there are also faster recipes) and the necessary products. There are many ways of preparing this dish, but what are the most-most of them?

I bring to your attention the recipe of meat stew "Searing ". So, prepare and lay out the following products on the table in advance (so it will be more convenient for you to work):

  • 1 kg of pork neck ;
  • 4 things. Sweet Bulgarian pepper;
  • 4 eggplants;
  • 6 tomatoes;
  • Half a kilogram of cabbage;
  • 100 g of tomato paste;
  • 4 heads of onion;
  • Garlic, parsley, pepper, salt at your discretion.

Preparation:

Pour vegetable oil onto the bottom of the five-liter pot and lay out the vegetables with layers and pork meat in strict sequence:

First the onion, cut into rings, then the meat, cut into pieces and pre-salted, peppered and seasoned with all sorts of spices. The next layer is again onions rings, another layer - sweet pepper (slightly salted beforehand), then tomatoes, cut into neat slices and slightly salted. Put the eggplant (pepper, salted) on the tomatoes, put finely chopped parsley and garlic on top of it, and cut the cabbage in the topmost layer.

We pour it all with tomato paste diluted in boiled water (the consistency should resemble thick tomato juice). You can replace tomato paste with normal tomato juice.

Cover the pan with a plate suitable for the diameter to the pan, and from above put a three-liter jar full of water. We send it to the stove, bring it to a boil, reduce the fire and extinguish it for one and a half to two hours (directly with a plate at the top). If you put a jar filled with water from above, vegetables will start to juice more quickly. After two hours, remove the ready-made meat stew from the stove and serve it to the table.

You can also cook meat stew with eggplant . Cooking it even easier. You will need:

  • 3 eggplant;
  • Half a kilo of veal;
  • A couple of Bulgarian peppers and a tomato;
  • The head of onions;
  • One carrot;
  • Seasoning is universal.

Cut the veal into small pieces. We clean eggplants from seeds and skins and cut straws. Pepper, too, cut into strips. Three carrots; Tomatoes and onions cut first into four parts, and then cut into slices. Slightly fry the meat, sprinkle it with seasoning. Add all the vegetables at once and fry for another ten minutes. After another 10 minutes, pour all the water and stew for half an hour. Everything, so quickly and delicious! Serve this eggplant-meat stew with spaghetti on the side dish.

And another recipe for meat stew. Let's call it "Traditional". Take:

  • 1 kg of pork meat;
  • 0.5 kg of pig liver;
  • 2 cups tomato sauce;
  • 2 cups of boiled water;
  • 2 potatoes;
  • 2 carrots;
  • 1 head of onions;
  • 3 cloves garlic;
  • Bay leaf;
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar;
  • To taste pepper and salt;
  • vegetable oil.

Pour the vegetable oil into a large saucepan. We put finely chopped garlic and onions. Cut the pieces of pork into pieces and put it in a saucepan (onion and garlic). Fry until the pork turns pink. As soon as the pork meat turns pink, add the pork liver. Season it all with pepper and salt. About twenty minutes fry, stirring constantly. We throw a bay and fill the meat with tomato sauce. Immediately add water and bring to a boil. Cook on simmer for about 20 minutes or slightly less (if the sauce is slightly thickened - that means enough). We add potatoes and carrots. Cook until softened vegetables. Our meat stew is ready.

As you can see, it's quite easy to cook meat stew. Pleasure with such a dish of your household or guests, they will certainly be satisfied. Enjoy your meal!
