Shrimp in lazy batter

I take:

  • Half a kilo of shrimp
  • 3 eggs
  • Flour 45g
  • Starch 25g
  • Fortified dessert wine - 25ml
  • Leek - 50g
  • Salt, pepper, any vegetable oil

First of all, I wash my shrimp, clean it from shell and put it in a bowl. There also finely cut the leeks, salt and pepper add to taste, pour the dessert wine, mix.

In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, gradually adding starch and flour to them, if necessary I add a little water. I pour this mixture into a bowl with prawns, mix it - get shrimp in lazy batter.

I warm up a frying pan with butter and spread the shrimp in turn, fry from both sides until ready. Quite quickly you get to your beer your shrimp in batter, the recipe is uncomplicated, but very tasty!

Shrimp in batter: Malaysian snack

Ironically, this snack is very popular in Malaysia, but not for beer, but ... for tea. The central component, of course, shrimp, and everything else can be varied, to whom that likes. So, shrimp in batter, recipe from Malaysia!

For 2-3 servings of "pancakes" with shrimps you will need:

  • One glass of flour
  • Half a glass of water
  • Freshly frozen shrimps - 100g
  • Canned corn - 50g
  • Bunch of green onions
  • One chili pepper
  • Half a tablespoon chili paste
  • 50ml of any vegetable oil
  • salt

I make a dash (liquid dough) for this, carefully mix in a bowl of chilli paste with flour and water.

I clean shrimp, large cut into 2 parts. I chop the green onions and chili. I drain the preservative liquid from the corn.

In a separate container I mix chili, onions and corn. I will add there the prepared prawns, salt and mix. I pour the batter, I mix it again.

I put the wok on a strong fire, pour oil - let it warm up. In the fully heated oil with a tablespoon, I lower the resulting mixture and fry for a couple of minutes on each side.

Simultaneously, cook pieces of 5-7 maximum, otherwise they can stick together. Finished "pancakes" I dry on a paper towel from the remains of fat.

That's all, shrimp in batter, recipe is not complex, ready, you can get beer!

King prawns in batter

Royal prawns in batter, the recipe is also not complex, it takes about half an hour to cook almost a kilogram of shrimp.

I take:

  • 900g of royal prawns
  • egg
  • 40g flour
  • 200ml soy sauce
  • water

Shrimp defrost - if necessary quickly, then under cold water, but it is better to unfreeze them in a natural way. I separate the heads, remove the shells, and leave the tails. I put it in a bowl, pour in soy sauce. Let them marinate.

And I'll cook it for now. I mix flour, water, egg and salt to the consistency of semi-liquid sour cream.

On a separate plate I pour out breadcrumbs. I take the shrimp by the tail, dip it into dough, into biscuits and put it in a frying pan with pre-heated any vegetable oil.

I usually serve with sauce - for this in 200ml cream I melt 2 processed cheese, if desired - I add there the crushed garlic, a pair of denticles. Royal prawns in batter put a ring on a dish, and in the center I put a small salad bowl with sauce. Bon appetite!

Tiger prawns in batter

Here's another easy way to prepare large shrimps. Tiger prawns in batter, the recipe is original and fast!

I take everything by sight:

  • Tiger chrimp
  • Mixture dry for preparation of pancakes
  • Sunflower oil and salt

Shrimp I sip it with boiling water to defrost it quickly, clean it and make good salt.

From the dry mix for pancakes I make the dough according to the instructions on the package.

I pour oil into the deep fryer. When it gets really hot, I take the shrimp, I dip it in dipping and throw it into the butter. By the color I find out if the shrimp is ready - it turns orange. Tiger prawns in batter - it's fast and delicious!
