Step-by-step cooking of the dish is as follows:

  1. Long rice (150 g) of any kind is thoroughly washed in cold water. During the washing process, water should be changed as often as possible, up to 8 times. This is done in order to wash the maximum amount of starch from rice, then when cooking it will not stick together and turn out to be crumbly.
  2. The washed rice is laid out in a saucepan, the bottom and walls of which are covered with foil. This is done so that the groats are not burnt during cooking. Rice is poured in water (250 ml), salt is added (½ tsp). The cooking time of the cereals is 15 minutes on a small fire, after which it must still stand for 10 minutes under the closed lid.
  3. Spinach (100 g) is washed under running water, dried on a towel, and then finely chopped.
  4. The bulb is finely chopped or crushed in a combine.
  5. On a mixture of vegetable and butter (30 g), firstly roast the onions until soft, then spinach. The time of preparation of such refueling should not exceed 5 minutes. In addition, another 30 g of butter is added.
  6. Ready and slightly cooled rice is transferred to a clean pan and mixed with spinach.
  7. With the help of a culinary ring, rice with spinach is laid out on a plate. A ready-made dish can be served to the table.

Very delicious rice can be prepared according to the following recipe. It is prepared in the oven, which means that it retains the maximum of useful substances during the heat treatment.

Rice with spinach in cream is prepared as follows:
