Recipe for sherbet: in the eastern and in European style

One of the most delicious oriental sweets is sherbet, made from sugar, nuts and dried fruits. And here is another recipe for sherbet - with condensed milk. Cook 100 grams of sugar with 50 milliliters of water, add a little lemon juice, 100 grams of condensed milk, the same amount of butter and walnuts. Boil the sherbet for 20 minutes, transfer it into convenient molds and cool slightly, then clean it in the freezer to freeze for about an hour. The classic recipe sherbet can be slightly supplemented. For example, adding cocoa powder, you will get a chocolate sherbet, replacing the walnuts with hazelnuts or cashews, you will change the habitual taste of your favorite sweetness.

Refreshing fruit or berry sherbet

If the heat in the yard, then instead of the eastern is better to give preference to fruit sherbetu. It requires very few ingredients: fresh fruit or berries, sugar and lemon juice. To make a sweet sherbet from strawberries, take 500 grams of ripe berries, remove the tails. Grind the berries in a blender. You should get a homogeneous mashed potatoes. If necessary, you can use a sieve. Mix berry puree with 100 grams of sugar and 5 tablespoons of lemon juice, transfer into a bowl and put into the freezer for 5 hours. Then remove, blend the mixture again in the blender (then the sorbet will turn out to be tender) and put it for 2 more hours in the freezer. Serve a berry or fruit sherbet, laying it in a croissant with a spoon for ice cream and decorating with a sprig of mint or fresh berries.
