Psychological training for team building

The result of the enterprise depends on the productive work of employees. It is logical that only a cohesively working team among fierce competition can succeed in business. Therefore, psychologists developed a training for team building (team building).

What is teambuilding?

This word came from two English: team - team and building - building. Teambuilding is a professional association of all employees (especially those in conflict with each other) with the help of training to create an ideal team that can achieve many goals in business. Such activities train and develop people's abilities. They are held in the form of games most often on general vacations or other corporate parties. It can be:

  • The analysis of conflict situations;
  • Discussions;
  • role-playing game;
  • Analysis of complex issues.

Example of the finished program

Training for team building is based on entertainment tasks. For example, "Filing an advertisement in a newspaper." Its essence lies in the fact that each participant creates a publication in the heading "I'm looking for a friend." The written works are handed over to the presenter and do not subscribe. Then the players loose their seats, and the leader spreads the leaves on the table in different order. Each participant should bypass all announcements and put a plus on the one that most liked. At the end of the game, those works are analyzed that have been given more pluses.

The "rope course" is a sporting contest where everyone should stand in a circle and tackle the rope. In the center is the leader, who approaches the participants and touches their hands. People in the circle must manage to remove them before touching. If someone could not do this, he becomes the presenter.

In the training for team building, the game "Bubble" can be included. All participants need to join hands, forming a circle. Then it must be expanded until someone releases their hands. The loser is out of the game.

The game "Repa" is held as follows: all participants must stand one after another, wrapping in front of the hands standing around the belt. The one who stands at the beginning of this chain holds on to the pole. The goal of the lead is to pull the last player, trying to detach him from the others.

Psychological training for team building will be more fun with the game "Golden Gate", where everyone should split into two teams. The first forms a circle and raises his hands upward, imitating the gate. Players of the second group should hold each other's hands. Then they, like a snake, quickly move, seeking to bypass the whole gate. The presenter gives a speech, after which the players of the first team drop their hands (they close the gate). Those who are in the middle of the circle become caught.

To organize an effective and memorable training for team building, it may be necessary for individual specialists: managers, moderators, writers, photographers and others. A quality event will not only bring pleasure, but will also be more useful. Today there are many agencies offering these services. They usually have their own training program for team building, but if necessary they can develop an individual scenario.
