Manege for children - tips and tricks

When a tiny little man gets new skills and starts moving independently around the house, the parents suddenly realize that they were in such a hurry to hurry and hastened the time, wanting the crumb to overturn as soon as possible, sit down and crawl. A small "tornado", confidently worn on all fours, can develop a decent enough speed and demolish everything in its path. Books, vases, statuettes, standing on low open shelves - all this will be in the hands of a curious child, not only in his hands, but also in his mouth.

Of course, moms and dads try, as far as possible, to protect the child from dangerous items and from those things that he can spoil. But being constantly next to the baby is problematic, because nobody has canceled other household chores. And while mum cooks borsch, the baby can get in time as much ... And just here the children's playpen comes to the rescue - comfortable, stable and absolutely safe for crumbs!

Some parents prefer to keep the kids in the crib (while they can not do it). However, children's psychologists say that the crib should be associated with a crumb with sleep, and not with a day's pastime. In addition, the cot is not very mobile, and it is unlikely that it will be carried around the whole apartment.

Another option is to put the little girl in a highchair. In this case, the baby will be in full view all the time, so nothing will turn and do not flatter anywhere. But this is not the best way out: first, the child will quickly become bored, and secondly, he will lose the ability to move, which is not too useful for a growing organism. In addition, some of the youngsters quickly learn to get out of the seat belts and famously stand in the high chairs, so the mother should always be on the hook.

It is possible to obstruct the child's approach to "strategically dangerous zones" with the help of boxes, suitcases and other improvised materials, creating a kind of barrier around the child. However, this is not very convenient, it is by no means always reliable (many curious creatures can easily climb through such barriers), and sometimes not even safe.

Acquaintance with the arena - the optimal age

Not all children enthusiastically take the children's playpen, especially if they are already accustomed to unrestricted freedom of movement. Therefore, Mom and Dad should already from 3-4 months of the baby's life slowly accustom him to stay in the arena. If such an acquaintance occurs at the age of six months or older, you should be interested in the karapuza - putting bright toys in the arena, including pleasant music or gay children's songs, and spending some time with the crumbs. You need to act gradually, patiently accustoming the baby to the arena and not leaving him for a long time alone (especially at first).

How to choose a playpen

Of course, loving parents are very concerned about the question of how to choose a playpen for children? After all, I really want to get a quality thing that will be faithful and true to serve the kid. The most important thing is that the arena must be stable! The child will try to get up, holding on to his sides or net, so if the arena swings, then it is better to refrain from buying it. If possible, it is better to choose a large playpen with a wide base - it is characterized by increased stability and not so clearly restricts freedom, and, in addition, it will accommodate many toys. The arena must be made of high-quality materials and not have sharp edges, and it is highly desirable that its sides, which kids often eat and that can be hit by falling, are rubberized or clogged with a cloth. It is also important that the arena can be easily washed, because it will have to be done quite often.

For those who regularly or periodically travels with a child, a manege-bed can be useful, which is great not only for waking, but also for sleeping. This children's arena compactly folds, has a carrying bag and very much helps in the case of spending the night with a child on a visit or at the dacha, as well as during trips to the sea.

However, parents should not forget that even the finest manege for children limits the freedom of the baby, so do not leave the crumb there for long. As soon as the adult will have a free minute, it is worth releasing the "free will", without waiting until he crying to do it. If possible, it is better to mount the arena in the field of view of the mother (father), in order to be able to smile at times from time to time and talk to him. Manezh should remain a parental wand-zaschalochkoy, and not a permanent place of stay of the child during waking hours, and then the kid will certainly fall in love with his bright and beautiful little house!
