Instead of nuclear bombs came viral nurseries, spraying on a huge territory an infection that affects all life. Mainly, the passage of the Prototype game will be based on similar manipulations with the experimental weapon. And not only, but also on the game with human life.

New level

Alex Mercer, the protagonist of the game Prototype, whose passage will offer the user to become acquainted with his abilities and capabilities, works in one of the largest companies specializing in biotechnology. It is this company that develops certain genetically modified viruses, as a result of which a person is endowed with incredible strength, cruelty or exacerbated feelings of smell and touch. The specific variety of such injections in the Prototype game, the passage of which provides for a collision with various kinds of mutated creatures, is great. Alex becomes one of the guinea pigs, who are injected with the virus. After that he wakes up on some table not somewhere in the hospital or in the scientific center, but in the morgue. The hero realizes that he has partial amnesia after taking the drug (as the memory goes back, the memory will return). But there is no time to think! Alex walks out of the morgue and watches a horrifying picture - New York in chaos: the epidemic has become massive, the military is shooting down the presumed hotbeds of the infection, and the government itself is setting the hunt for them. This is just the interesting game Prototype, the passage of which involves clashes with various groups and varieties of opponents.

Unlimited possibilities

Despite all this, Alex gets a huge force at his disposal, capable of transforming his limbs into a weapon of mass destruction (hands and feet in this case). The whole research operation on his organism and in the future hunting received his unique name - Prototype. Passage of the game will be based mainly on battles with mutated creatures, who have at their disposal various abilities. But the military does not stand aside - and with them, Alex will have a rather tense relationship. With each increase in the level of the main character, the user is given the opportunity to open a new unique ability or reception, the number of which is quite large. The possibility of flight, the destruction of dozens of opponents with one fierce blow of the hammer hand, a fracture of the earth's surface, superforce, and much more will help Alex confront the whole hordes of enemies. Passage of the game Prototype-2 will be a logical continuation of the first part.
