Popular contraceptives for men

Modern medicine is mainly aimed at creating new methods of contraception for women, while men are in search of a reliable method to protect themselves from the unwanted pregnancy of their partner.

This situation is due primarily to the nature of male sperm, because they tend to form in excessively large quantities daily, but a woman is enough to block the productive activity of her egg by drinking tablets.

Specialists of many countries worked hard for a long time, creating contraceptives for men who could reliably protect themselves from pregnancy. Israeli scientists were able to achieve the goal, and thanks to many studies and experiments they managed to create a male contraceptive, which is taken only once every three months.

In the contraceptive pill for men will contain a certain amount of male sex hormones - testosterone, which in large quantities can block the functionality of sperm in the male body. Contraceptives for men are only temporary, after taking a short period of time, the leukematogenesis will immediately recover.

Among modern methods of contraception can be used and a kind of implants - special items length of 2, 5 cm, which are introduced under the skin. They act on the fertilization process in such a way that an active, modified testosterone blocking the lumogenesis enters the bloodstream. The advantages of this method of contraception is the possibility to forget for a long time about the use of contraceptives for both men and women.

Influence of these contraceptives for men on the quality of protein in the sperm, on which the process of fertilization depends. This method is still at the test level, and men still use early known contraceptive methods.

Over the years, such contraceptives for men as condoms have been successful. They have existed for more than 400 years, and were originally created as a protective agent against many infectious sexual diseases. This contraceptive is made of latex, a thin enough and durable material that allows you to maintain the most pleasant sensations during intercourse, but at the same time creates a reliable barrier to the release of spermatozoa.

Reliability of condoms primarily depends on their quality and the ability of men to use them. With the proper use of quality contraceptive, in addition to protection from pregnancy, the likelihood of contracting sexually transmitted infections and HIV is also excluded. The main disadvantage of the condom is its ability to tear and slip, increasing the risk of pregnancy.

Some men resort to surgical intervention as a suspension of the reproductive function of spermatozoa. In medicine, this method of contraception for men is widely known as a vasectomy, which means the intersection of the vas deferens. This operation takes place very quickly, within 30 minutes, and after 2-3 months - the need for contraception is completely excluded.

The main advantage of male sterilization is the reliability of the method, because after the operation the woman has no opportunity to get pregnant from her partner. But also there are drawbacks, this is primarily the irreversibility of the process - a man will forever remain sterile. In addition, vasectomy is one of the most expensive operations, so not everyone can afford it.

Most people who have regular sexual partners use interrupted sexual intercourse as a contraception . Only with this method can you experience all the sensations of having sex, but this is one of the most ineffective and safe ways to protect against unwanted pregnancy.
